The all-new 2022 Maserati MC20 is a 2-seat supercoupe, with retractable-hardtop convertible and electric versions due later in the model year. All three feature swing-up butterfly doors, a lightweight carbon-fiber body, and an aluminum suspension.
The MC20’s cockpit is minimalist chic, with black leather seating featuring blue accents, Alcantara trim on the pillars and steering wheel, plus handsome carbon-fiber accents. Matching 10.25-inch digital screens make up the instrument cluster and infotainment setup. The latter runs the latest Android Automotive operating system, which includes connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A digital rearview mirror with a rear-facing camera solves the problem of rearward visibility.
Notable options for the MC20 include a Sonos Faber premium audio system, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a suspension lifter, so you don’t scrape the MC20’s beautiful front spoiler on speed bumps.
The MC20 comes standard with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine pumping out 620 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission funnels power to the rear wheels while stopping duty is assigned to Brembo brakes affixed to standard steel rotors or available carbon-fiber units.
Acceleration is exhilarating, with a 0-to-62-mph run of just under 3 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. A 5-mode drive selector includes settings for Wet, GT, Sport, Corsa, and ESC-Off.
But the MC20 isn’t purely about track performance. The brilliantly engineered adjustable suspension is entirely compliant on rougher road surfaces, and the transmission understands when to deliver rapid shifts and when less urgency is required, such as when driving to your favorite coffee joint.
Stylistically, the new MC20’s clean exterior holds up well to other supercars, with less exterior clutter than some exotics. On the performance end, the MC20 is as quick as the more powerful Ferrari F8 Tributo and McLaren Artura, but slightly slower than the less expensive Porsche 911 Turbo and similarly priced Lamborghini Huracan.
The Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price for any individual used vehicle can vary greatly according to mileage, condition, location, and other factors, but here's a general idea of what buyers are currently paying for used 2022 Maserati MC20 models when purchasing from a dealership.
