Lucid Motors is an electric vehicle automaker that came to life with the introduction of the Lucid Air, a full-size luxury sedan that competes with the Tesla Model S, for instance. The Lucid Air went on sale for the 2022 model year and has been offered with a wide variety of price, power and range options. There's an Air that can travel more than 500 miles on a single charge, and another with more than 1,200 horsepower that can rocket from zero to 60 mph in under two seconds. Prices range from under $100,000 into the mid-$200,000 stratosphere. The Lucid Gravity SUV – offered with two or three rows of seats – will be the second model in the automaker's lineup.
