Positive Review

"Love this car."

I have owned Jags, Mercs, Cads, and this car gives me every thing I had in those cars and more for less money. Ride and handling are excellent. Put it in S mode and it corners like a sport car. The only complaint I have is that there is no power folding side mirrors and no front parking sensors. Love the air condition (not ventilated but real AC) seats!!! Plenty of power too. Back up camera has turning guide lines, not just a picture, which really help park.

VS

Critical Review

"Not my favorite car"

I have no -- as in NO -- visibility out of the right side rear window when I have a front-seat passenger. Serious blind spots both sides. That 3rd brake light in the back window blocks some obnoxious headlights at night but also blocks some necessary visual of what's going on. Car does not always remember my settings, not the worst thing but annoying!! Like the handling, love the red color, heated/cooled seats are wonderful.

8 Years and Counting!
Pros

Powerful v6, great build quality, seamless infotainment

Cons

Gear selector faded

We purchased this in 2017. After driving the 5 series BMW, and the like, I drove this expecting it to be plastic, and boring. It was neither! The 3.0 V6 flies and the soft touch interior is the place you want to be for a long drive! Handling? We go to Lake Tahoe every year and though it's not a BMW in handling we are very confident and through the many curves and there is power to spare with the 3.0. For us all of this is great but a lot of our decision was based on reliability. Our Lincoln has over 100,000 miles of trouble free driving! We service it religiously and it has rewarded us. You get every option imaginable, tons of interior space and unlike the German cars in my experience with Porsche (3 of them) , Bmw, (4} its never in the shop. I Love my BMWs and Porsches! My wife just purchased an X5 but I've really enjoyed this car! The push button gear selector faded from touching out so much but the seats still look new, no rattles at squeaks, not even a battery. It's an underrated, high quality, reliable car that is really fun to drive! Of they still made them I'd get another.

Pros

Car gets great gas mileage, at least 24 mpg around town and 28 mpg plus on the road. Has adaptive cruise control which I constantly use.

Cons

Being 83 yrs. old have some trouble getting in and out. Post between front and rear door blocks side view unless perpendicular to intersection.

I bought this car 3 months ago to replace a 2017 Ford Mustang eco boost convertible. Previously owned a 2011 MKZ which I enjoyed and was sorry for trading it. Current MKZ has the turbo 4-cylinder engine which has plenty of power. Last year for CD player I believe.

Hazard issue

Pre owned vehicle, completely shuts off and disabled while driving and unable to make a safe stop. Not recommended at all. Maker and dealer never able to find the problem or have a solution for this hazard issue.

Awesome MKZ
Pros

Everything

Cons

Not Made Anymore

We have owned this fantastic Lincoln MKZ Sedan now just over 2 years, it is an absolute dream to drive. We're so disappointed that Ford/Lincoln decided to stop making cars/sedans. Not everyone wants a wagon from the 70's which is most/all SUV's, or a truck. It is fun to drive, fuel efficient, and very comfortable. Not to mention extremely dependable. Great Car!

Good Bang for the buck
Pros

comfort, handling, mpg (hybrid), electronics

Cons

They all wear out eventually

The 2018 MKZ Select is a sleeper for the price. Super comfortable. Good quality interior. Hybrid gets 40 MPG if you pay attention. Good stereo sound. Perfect for long trips. One of the best cars I have ever owned.
