Positive Review
Purchased the hybrid in 2012 when Lincoln was offering the hybrid at the same price as the conventional engine. Great gas mileage (42 on highway) highest 45 on 450 mile drive to visit grand kids. Well appointed interior. Nice styling.very comfortable long distance ride. Very quiet. Thicker glass and insulation means Very low road or wind noise. Heated and cooled seats are a big plus. Back up video and sensors are great. Can sense cars coming from 30 ft away on either side. Has blind spot sensors to warn you of vehicle that has passed into blind spots on either side. Very nice sound system with 10 speakers. Navigation system is easy to use. Read outs on dash help you get better mileage. Engine runs quiet, automatic seamless shifting from gas to electric mode. Terrific transmission with seamless shifting.
Critical Review
this car lost value due to a restyling on lincolns part - suspension on this car is awful - never take a long trip in it - not comfortable - would never buy another lincoln - they certainly did not protect their consumer who owned lincolns prior to 2012 as I was told that because of the restyling, my 2009 dropped dramatically in resale value... I paid $26K for this car in 2012 and have been offered $12500 on a trade in 2014 towards another lincoln..seriously?

4/1/2025 I bought this used at 85k miles and I have just over 300k on this car currently. (Mostly highway) Only normal wear and tear are on this car, aesthetic problems, sure. Daily driver. For me it’s been an excellent “knock around car”. Only needed battery changes and some suspension parts, and a new valve cover gasket on the firewall side. Not bad
Overall especially in winter snowier days..
None in my opinion

I bought this MKZ in 2013 with 20,000 miles on it. 10 years later with 130,000 miles on it, it’s been an outstanding value that’s dependable comfortable and still great looking. I’ve replaced one control arm, and a $30 air conditioner sensor. That’s all I’ve ever had to do other than normal tires, brakes and battery. Period highly recommend the 2007 MKZ. Comfortable and quiet with good handling. Confident of its safety.
I bought my MKZ with 72k. So far, I have no issues. It has good power and is super comfortable. I don't especially care for the self dimming rear view mirror. I miss the gas mileage was slightly better too. I'm averaging about 17 mpg and I don't have a heavy foot
Runs and drives perfect as long as you maintain it . Make sure you don’t get different rims as it can make the tires difficult to take off.
40mpg no problems regular maintenance
None
One of the very best vehicles I have ever owned, 40 mpg gas mileage and no problems. Regular maintenance performed and new tires @ 62,000. All recalls and computer updates performed.
looks nice on the inside
fuel efficiency
I can't imagine there are many people that are still driving or looking to buy this car. It is old and the front look is a little outdated and there actually were not that many made. I bought mine in 2018 at 190,000 miles and have made it to 275,000. There were definitely some repairs along the way that were worth more than the value of the vehicle, but honestly some of the interior options were too nice to give up. And the depreciation of putting 85,000 miles on a newer car would have been more than initial purchase and all of the repairs. I love all the leather seats. The cushion is considerably comfortable and the angles on the car give nice spots to rest your head on long rides. Heated and cooled seats. Also the angle of the front window is nice and repairs a relatively easy for a luxury car since it is built on the ford fusion mazda frame. The rear of the car actually looks pretty good. I don't regret my purchase or time spent in vehicle. Just there are more fuel efficient cars that we should probably be purchasing instead of this.
Ease of handling, comfort, reliability
Grill and rear styling
Bought our MKZ in 2014 with just 15,500 miles and it has run trouble-free over 80,000 miles now with a single repair...replacement of a constant velocity joint. Lincoln also paid for replacement of both airbags upon recalls. The car is nimble, responsive, accelerates well and has a beautiful interior and ample trunk and interior space.
