What Owners are Saying About the 2002 Lexus SC
"Style, luxury and performance on a budget"
"Do you want a strong, smooth engine that will run forever, great curves, leather and real wood as far as the eye can see, a folding hard top, and a car that just flows around corners? Look no further. Reliability, pinache, and all this can now be had for less than the sales tax on today's so-called luxury grand tourers. Carbon fiber just doesn't have the charm of burled walnut. Not to mention the trick concealed panels or details like a cupholder that unfolds like origami at the push of a button. Even the ancient built in nav still works well. The Mark Levinson audio system is not a strong suit measured against the best new sound systems, but still charms. 18 years after it first arrived on our shores it still gets smiles. Top Gear got it wrong on this one. Good examples go quickly What was a lot of money when new - well over $ 60,000 2002 dollars- can be bought inexpensively now as a great older car that really provides value. Knocks? Steering feel is not as good as it might be . Trunk space is limited. The back seats are for small children, very short adults, or best used for additional storage. Mileage is decent for an 8 cylinder."
"Life is good, this is the dessert"
"If youre like me youve admired this cars looks for a long time before you thought about purchasing it. Nothing can prepare you for the smoothness, power and attention you get while driving it. Forget what KBB says the value is, there will never be another car like this one. I feel like a celebrity every time I drive it. I go into the garage just to look at it. The design is timeless, and to think they stopped making this car in 2010. The perfect weekend or night out on the town vehicle. If youre thinking about buying this car, dont worry - it delivers."
"Excellent"
"My 2006 SC430 red convertible is an excellent vehicle, fun to drive and mechanically sound after all these years. Love it and think it one of the most beautiful sports cars I've ever seen/owned. I would buy it again! Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, luxurious, classy convertible that's not a money pit!"
