Never thought I'd keep a car this long! This car just runs and runs. Except for normal maintenance it's as solid as a rock. Changed the timing belt at 120k and will do it again at 220k. This car is more reliable than some new cars. It will probably run forever. The only way I'll get rid of it is if I find the same model with lower miles. It's that good.

When I bought it, it has 104K miles. Good styling, reasonable comfort, great interiors, smooth engine. That's it. And, within 2 weeks of purchase, AC compressor was burnt while driving normal. I never abuse cars. Yet, AC compressor, AC clutch, exp. valve, Rec. dryer have to be replaced and pieces of burnt compressor has to be cleaned up from the AC system. Total repair cost $2600 (including parts $1520). Japanese OEM parts are much more expensive when needed replacing. It might be a reasonably reliable for some people, but when it broke down, be very aware of extremely expensive parts. Not recommended. It is just a hype of being "so-called great" luxurious Japanese cars. If you want it, better buy brand new. Never buy used no matter what condition it is in.

We bought this car from the original owner in 2006. It has been a wonderful car. Fun to drive, lots of great features and minimal maintenance. I changed the timing belt at 90000 miles. Other than that, just routine maintenance: brakes, tires, oil and filters.
runs great hasn't had any mechanical issues since I bought it, no check engine and for the year it's quite a smooth ride

I've owned her now for 5 years and on those 5 years I've only had to have oil changes and ball joints done! These things are TANKS! Most reliable car I've ever had the pleasure of owning.

I bought this car with 84k miles in 2013. I still have it in 2020 and it has 139k miles. I have had a few repairs, which are costly; however, it does not tear up often. Definitely a reliable car. I want an LS430 of the same era.
