Positive Review
I think it's one of the prettiest vehicles on the road. I lease a black GT1/AWD, and I intend to buy it out as there's nothing on the market, especially at this price point that checks so many boxes. Nothing from Germany without an AMG, M, or RS on the trunk lid can beat it to 60. The liftback trunk can easily handle a COSTCO run without even folding down the seats. The rear seats have plenty of leg and head room, but I am challenged to fit my 3 young kiddos in boosters in the back. The interior with the "standard" (GT1) leather is plenty comfortable and stylish. I think the electronics' UI is a step behind most others like Audi or even Chrysler, but it does have CarPlay/Andriod Auto and the HK 720w is loud and clear enough to fit most anyone's needs. It doesn't have the "all glass" gauges, but basic analog that is easily legible like a true driver's car should be. I traded a 2015 Charger R/T Road and Track pkg for it. The Stinger is quicker and more agile. It does not have the solid, 80s E Class "thunk" when you shut the doors like the Dodge and does feel "flimsier" in comparison. It also lacks remote trunk opening and cooled seats which did bother me at first. Likewise, some of the switchgear and trim pieces feel cheesy if you compare it to some of it's (pricier) competition. It needs a rear strut tower brace to solidify the suspension. I can attest to the "wobbly" feeling reported in various road tests when pushed aggressively through a sharp corner. My biggest complaint has to be the tires, which isn't the car's fault, but beware it does have a 35mm sidewall in the rear (on the 19" equipped GTs), and you WILL replace them after any hard pothole. While we're on tires - if you get one with 19" wheels, the only option offered are summer tires which may be great in TX or CA, but in northern VA, are useless for a good portion of the year. I replaced them with Michelin AS3s and now it's a beast in the snow. Now another criticism I've seen leveled at the Stinger is the cost; while $50k+ MSRP sounds like a lot, it's still many thousands less than even a fairly basic BMW/Audi/Merc. When these were launched in 2018, they were slow to move from the lot, and so I got mine for $37K; At the time it was a toss-up between this and an identically priced Accord 2.0T. After 3 years, I've had no mechanical issues, and I still get asked about it nearly every time I fill the tank.
Critical Review
Horrible vehicle for the money. Look elsewhere before dropping $50k on a KIA. I am not sure about the lower end models, but the GT2 is an embarrassment at $50k. SO many issues with this vehicle since day one and KIA is the worst company when it comes to helping its customers. I have had issues with paint falling off the car, infotainment issues, brake issues, rattles and creaks everywhere, electronic suspension errors, and it goes on and on. No matter what, it is still a KIA and made very poorly. Seats are sold as a premium material, but the nappa leather is horrible and cracks. I have spent 6 months chasing KIA to fix these issues, with no luck. The car cannot even be driven unless it is local since the car shakes violently when applying the brakes at high speeds. This car sits in my yard and gets nearly no use. I have been to 3 dealers, and have spoken to numerous reps at KIA directly, and my issues have not been taken care of. Taking to the dealer results in nothing but "we will call you" and that call never comes. Just the poor service from KIA is enough to never buy a KIA. I have never experienced such poor service from a car company.

All around perfect! Performance, comfort, luxury, family sports car. Literally checks all the boxes for 50k! Been reliable so far, 50k and 6 years old .
Never had BMW or Audi to compare so I can't say if it's better or not. I'm a father with child and previous SUV owner. I was tired of SUV's and when I saw this car I realized it's the same price as a SUV but has a lot of space but way more exciting to drive. It's a crime that this car is not more popular. The trugh is more people don't need SUV and they would be way better with this car.
the car
the price
I am the orignal owner and did my homework before buying and everything every reviewer said was right, this car is fun to drive, comfortable, full of extras, has tremendous power its a true grand touring sedan. I have now owned this car for 4 years and NOT ONE problem to report. Gas, oil and trips to the dealership to ensure we are on schedule with maintenance 46,000 miles on my third set of tires(i like to have fun)and no intention of selling this car. I choose this car for the hatchback where i can easily fit my mountain bike in and plenty of stuff when needed. Yes its expensive but not as expensive as its rivals.
You won’t find a better car for the money
None for me
The Stinger is everything it claims to be and more. I have the chromium red gt2 and I love it! I drive from Tn to Oh with no issues to date. 1000 miles round trip. Gas mileage is as described but what do you expect? This thing is fast, quick, handles just fine for me. I don’t plan on racing at any tracks lol! Plenty of interior room. Nice leather seats. I love the black interior. I have never been stopped by more people to ask me what it is and tell me how much they love it!
Fast, comfortable, sound system
Ambient lighting is weak
I love the car. To be a family car have the speed you want and the comfort that it provides is awesome.
Overall value for the price. Looks. Engine
small gas tank. Auto-off switch
I own the AWD/GT2 Model in the battleship gray color, and I absolutely love this vehicle. I have owned quite a few vehicles from BMW's to Audi's and I have never had so many compliments on this vehicle. People will come up and ask we what kind of car I have and how much they love the looks. As for the overall vehicle itself, I think for the money, $50K, this is the best car I have owned. It is quick, handles great, and has every option I can think of and overall, just a great car to drive. Also, I live in Colorado, and have driven this car in all kinds of snow and bad weather at it does awesome! I truly believe this is such an under rated vehicle. Pros: Looks, and engine! Cons: Small gas tank. And can't stand the Auto-off.
Everything is perfect in this car no complaints
Any Cons
Amazing Car no complaints at all, very safe and powerful, economic in gas, beautiful line and aerodynamic design
Fast, attention getter, Sound system
Larger fuel tank.
Best car I've ever owned. I say this having been a previous owner of: BMW M5, BMW M3, Audi S6, Mercedes E55 AMG.
