The first thing you should do is drive a kia Soul. It holds the road. The electric power steering steers like a micrometer! Brakes in the dime, rides like a much larger car,sits high so you don't feel like you are lying down. Ac and heater has the power to cool and heat rapidly. Enough room for 4 people comfortably, Great gas mileage with good acceleration! I have owned many different cars in my life and this is the best made one I have owned. I am 79 years old!

My second Kia Soul: I also had a 2013 Soul Exclaim. And I actually prefer my previous Soul to the current model. I appreciate the safety tech and I'm getting excellent gas mileage but this car lacks the personality that my previous Soul had. I miss the quirky interior with the hounds tooth fabric and the flashing speaker lights and more funky styling. even the model designations were cooler...Exclaim (!), Plus (+), etc are way more unique than "S", "Ex", X-Line", etc. And no more Hamsters? Replaced with a chameleon?? Seriously ??? Kia needs to remember who brought it to the dance. Major issues I've had thus far are the OE tires. They hate to get wet and can be treacherous in the rain. I replaced them at 3,000 miles and the difference is dramatic. But the headlights are without a doubt the worst I have ever had on a car. I drive with my brights on and rarely get signaled. My service advisor believes a recall is forthcoming but if I had test driven the car at night I absolutely wouldn't have bought it. And lastly, i hate the fact that you have to go all in for the top of the line turbo model to get certain options, i.e. pedestrian detection or an upgraded stereo system. It didn't use to be like that. I don't feel the need to spend an extra $7-$8 grand just to get flashing speaker lights although I do miss them. And I miss my 2013 Soul too.

My Kia Soul is ten years old with about 60,000 miles and performs like it did when new. It has enough power for freeway driving and is small enough to fix in any parking place. Never had to do any work to it except for a new battery or two. Ive driven BMWs, Mercedes, Fords and others but none compare to its comfort and reliability. I’m giving it to the new 16 year old driver in the family with the knowledge that it will be safe and reliable. My new car will be another Kia Soul.
I really love all of the features and the sporty look of my newly purchased 2023 Kia Soul GT. I love how it provides plenty of cabin space and leg room for taller individuals and I love all of the standard features that it comes with. The gas mileage is unbeatable and the color is vibrant and blue.

Got it 5 years ago and never did other than normal maintenance and replacing a tail light bulb and brake pads. This car saved my life one night driving on the Mojave Desert and avoiding a dog at 55mph, the car was under control all the time! My previous car was a 2017 Toyota Corolla L that was never happy on CA desert temperatures, the Soul holds up so well in this type of weather.
This car has every thing. Fun to Drive Great on Gas , lots of room , Very Quiet Very modern interior , infotainment is excellent I would definitely recommend this car for the price
Let’s begin with it’s not a Ferrari, it’s great transportation for $20,000. That in mind, great warranty, decent acceleration, loads of room, good ride, easy in and out and actually fun to drive. My son has a 2021, zero issues. I bought a 2023 for an around town car to keep mileage off my BMW and Bronco. All said, you can’t buy a better car for $20,000.
