I have been commuting in a Soul EV for about 6 months with a daily 55 mile commute from LA to Orange County. With that commute, I burn through lots of miles on my cars. This is the best car I've ever had for the commute. Because I can use the HOV lane, I save about 45 minutes on good driving days and hours when there is a roadside disaster. I used to have to fill up my tank 3 times a week. I never have to stop for gas. You should note that an EV has some limitations (e.g., you can't make a spontaneous road trip to Vegas). I don't think I will ever go back to a gas vehicle for my car, and I am looking forward to the next generation. The navigation system is very intuitive and helpful. The car is extremely quiet and zippy and I like the functionality with my Ipod.

Fun to drive, quite and smooth drive
Save on gas by not having to by any! I live the panoramic sun roof, the led lights are amazing! Has a lot of get up and go for an electric car
Its a zippy, reliable car & cheap to operate
No cons for me, I plan ahead
I leased my 2018 KIA SOUL + in 2018, over 4 years ago. It started out with 119 miles range on a full charge and today, 34,000 miles later it has 130 mile range on a full charge. The only time I took it to the dealership was two months ago for new wiper blades and a cabin filter. I've never had a single problem with it! Ultra low operating costs average 4 miles KWh and around town I get upwards of 9 miles KWh! At .30 cents per KW that's 7.5 cents per mile average and around town it only costs 3 cents per mile to drive. We put in a 220V charger in the garage and it takes only about 4 hours to fully charge. I do my best to charge during Edison's "super off peak" times.

Couldn't have been happier with this car. Better handling and off-line acceleration than my gas Kia Soul; great fit and finish; upscale interior for the price. This is a fun, dependable car: wonderful driver experience and 110 mile + range, which is fine for 99% of my days; though having another car in the household would be optimal for occasional long trips.

Needs more range, the next version will go farther
Seats are very comfortable, power is great, features are great.. Range is so so, unless you baby it and keep it under 55 MPH..
Good Performance, Decent Ride, NO GAS!
Range takes a hit in winter.
Initially thought I would give this car to my daughter for going back and forth to school but decided to use it as a commuter car for a while to save on gas. This car is the perfect commuter car for commutes of 50 miles a day or less. It's no race car but it's quick and keeps pace with traffic well. Handles and soaks up bumps well for it's size and comfortably carries 4 people. No plush but gives you all the options you need in the base model. Apple Car Play, heated seats, tilt telescoping wheel, auto air and push button start. With all the discounts and rebates I got mine cost $17,500. Can't beat it for a new anything plus Kia's 60/100K warranty. Best purchase I ever made.

I love this car, my first Kia. I've always had Nissan and Infiniti's prior.. Easy to charge, park, decent ride, nice fit/finish, great stereo, love the heated and vented seats, heated steering wheel..
Oregon DOT placed many CHadMo sites-- make this CA originating car very well placed
