Positive Review
In over 45 years of driving, I've had everything from a 1967 Camaro to a Range Rover. Overall, this is probably (gulp) my favorite. Great looks, fuel efficiency, fun to drive, and so many standard options at a great price. Sometimes I catch myself staring at it, still in disbelief that it is a KIA.
Critical Review
Transmission problems. Engine leaking oil. Electrical malfunction. These cars are definitely a junkyard vehicle.

Mileage, comfort, style
OEM tires could be better in snow/rain
50k and no issues with the vehicle. 15 year/150k warranty just incase. The only suggestions I have is to put a dab of epoxy on the antenna cover before you run it through the car wash. Otherwise the 600miles/tank of fuel is great with the rising cost of fuel. Be sure to get full synthetic when getting oil changes and switch to snow/rain tires for better all season tires. This pre-owned Kia was a great buy! A+
High Theft, Class Action for engine failure
There is such a high theft rate of kia/ hyundai because of how easy it is to steal them Insurance companies (Progressive, State Farm) are dropping customers or rates are getting hiked. Kia's response to this was giving owners the "club" you know the theft device from the 80's ... There is currently a federal class action lawsuit "Hyundai and Kia engine litigation" for engine failure. I am currently going thru this and wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. Plan on being on the phone for hours with customer service, you will speak with a different person each time, and each one will tell you the one you talked with before told you the wrong thing, and when they do this they will be rude and I was even yelled at. DO NOT BUY A KIA OR HYUNDAI GOOGLE any of the topics for yourself and make up your own decision.

Reliable vehicle, if maintained properly issues are few and far between. Economical and comfortable, with a wide field of view and little to no blind spots.

I love mine, had a little scare with the Hybrid Battery briefly but overall I love it. Gas mileage sucks in the winter though..If I had a EX model I would keep it forever.
