Positive Review

"want to enjoy a ride?"

If you want to enjoy a ride ,try the Cadenza. Yes a BMW 5 series might be a touch better( you'll notice I said a touch better) at high speed handling. Where can we really do a lot of high speed driving without tickets. The Caddy might ride a little softer in the city (maybe) then gets mushy on the twists and turns. This Cadenza seems to be a good balance of the two. Features and Tech wise it has them both beat at this price. If you want to pay an extra $20,000.00 for the same thing in a BMW go ahead and spend your money for nothing extra except the name plate. That's how good this car really is. not perfect, but what car is. Fit and finish is as good as anything out there. only short fall here might be the wood grain plastic. My Cadenza has beige interior and might look better with just a shade lighter wood tone. A burl walnut wood be great. What would I have made better? passengers seat height adjustment, and A/C cooling in seat. A sport mode setting. Kia s 8 speed transmission matchup to increase the highway gas mileage. A $3000.00 dollar less price tag ( this seems to be made up in incentives, so why not just have the lower price tag to start with.)Would attract a lot more buyers.

"Not Bad Not Great"

While the car has very impressive features in addition to signature styling, it hasn't been what I had hoped. Its not a bad car for the money, but it is still a highly refined Kia. I bought it as a second car to take to the office and the basics are fine but I also have a 2012 Acura TL and there is no comparison in terms of quality and performance. The Kia is a bit bigger and has a few more bells and whistles but the performance and overall quality of the Acura is much better. I also believe that the value will drop significantly compared to its Japanese and German competitors. Perhaps Kia will refine it a bit more over the next few years and make it a true competitor. All I can say is compare and see what fits best for your budget and lifestyle.

very nice, clean car.

a very well maintained car and also a very well taken care of vehicle that has been garaged its whole life. My 54 year old daughter has owned this vehicle 7 years and has babied it the whole time. mostly highway milage as she drives 30 miles each way to work. This vehicle has no known issues or problems. It has approximately 9,000 miles on new tires. She has faithfully had the oil changed every 5,000 miles. There is absolutely no body damage on the outside of the vehicle except for normal wear and tear for 10 year old car.

LOVE MY CADENZA. IT HAS ALL THE SAFETY DEVICES.
Pros

SAFETY DEVICES AND ALL AROUND A GREAT VEHICLE.

Cons

SETS TOO LOW FOR ME

CONSIDER SELLING ON OPEN MARKET AS I WILL NOT GET AS MUCH ON TRADE-IN. IT A GREAT CAR AND THE ONLY REASON I WOULD SELL IT IS BECAUSE IT SETS LOW (WHICH IS GREAT STYLING). I'M 6'3" AND I DIDN'T REALIZE I'M GETTING OLDER AND MY KNEES BOTHER ME GETTING IN AND OUT. HOWEVER, WHEN I'M IN IT, I LOVE DRIVING IT AND ALL THE SAFETY FEATURES ARE A TREMENDOUS HELP.

Best Bang for your Buck
Pros

Styling, handling, comfort, technology

Cons

Not much

Before I bought this car, I was looking for a higher level (luxury sedan) like a Mercedes C or E class. I never thought i would buy a Kia, much less love it I happened to be at a car show, and test drove a Cadenza, and loved it. I then started a quest to get a Limited Cadenza (I did not want the lower end models). It took me several months to find one within 200 miles of where I live, and was fortunate to find one. The Limited (even new) trim is hard to find. I bought the car used, and the car had only 12,250 miles (almost new I would say), at less than half the sticker price. I have had the car for 3+ years, and have had no major problems with it. There were a couple of minor problems (that got fixed under warranty). Overall the car looks great, I love the styling, performs great, has a nice smooth ride, and with all the technology, it is a pleasure to drive. I would suggest you to look for a used one with low miles, and you will be happy.

A wonderful car in every respect!
Pros

excellent quality, sharp design

Cons

rapid depreciation in first year.

With 47,000 miles on the odometer, this car has been terrific. In addition to the routine stuff, i.e. oil changes, new tires @ 36K miles, new battery @ 4 years, I've spent a grand total of $1.79 on it (for a new battery for the key fob!). I drive it mostly around town, and it's comfortable and capable in any weather. On the highway, it's a dream to drive on Idaho's 80mph interstates. The heated steering wheel and seats are a relief in the winter, the air-conditioned seats are ditto in the summer. Yes, it has had rapid depreciation, likely due to the Kia name more than anything. I expect to enjoy this car for many years to come.

Good highway traveler. Powerful.
Pros

Power. Comfort.

Cons

Auto transmission, Gas mileage.

Best on highway. A bit clumsy in city driving. Auto transmission not as agile as competitors. Hesitates upon acceleration but good once it kicks in. Comfortable car.
