The 2025 Jaguar F-Pace is a capable, comfortable, and engaging compact luxury SUV, while closing one chapter of Jaguar’s story. Pricing starts at $58,275.
This is a strange time for Jaguar. It recently announced a complete rebranding, with new slogans, a new look, and (soon) new products. Accordingly, the company is closing out its existing inventory and carrying forward only a single vehicle for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Jaguar F-Pace is the last of the line as we currently know it.
For its final year of production (there won’t be an F-Pace beyond 2025), Jaguar’s compact luxury SUV receives no major updates, except in top-spec SVR trim where extra power is added as a final send-off. Because Jaguar’s upcoming models are expected to be all-electric, the F-Pace SVR also represents Jaguar’s last V8 engine.
Although it lags behind more modern rivals, this concluding year of the F-Pace may attract some buyers solely for its collectability. If you’re in the market for a sporty luxury SUV and don’t particularly care about the meta, however, there several more affordable alternatives with newer technology.
We’ve logged hundreds of hours driving and evaluating this generation of compact luxury SUVs, including the Jaguar F-Pace.
The 2025 model year is Jaguar’s last as a traditional luxury carmaker. It announced a rebranding campaign aimed at moving it up into the realm occupied by Bentley, Mercedes-Maybach, and Rolls-Royce. Accordingly, its model lineup shrinks to just the F-Pace in preparation to launch all-new vehicles based on the Type 00 concepts. This model year marks the end of the road for the F-Pace.
As a send-off for Jaguar’s final V8, the high-performance F-Pace SVR receives a 25-horsepower upgrade. Also, a 3D surround-view camera and parking assistance are now part of the Driver Intelligence package.
The 2025 Jaguar F-PACE has a starting sticker price of $58,275, with the range-topping F-PACE SVR 575 EDITION kicking off at $93,175. But Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Pricing currently suggests paying $1,417 to $3,355 less than MSRP, depending on trim and equipment. These prices are updated weekly.
MSRP | KBB Fair Purchase Price (national avg.) | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
$58,275 | $56,235 | |||

$93,175 | $89,820 |
The 2025 Jaguar F-Pace is considerably more expensive than almost all its competition. The Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC all start around $10,000 below the F-Pace. The Acura RDX, Lexus NX, and Genesis GV70 are closer to $15,000 less expensive. The only compact luxury SUV with a higher starting price is the Porsche Macan, which is considerably sportier with much better resale value.
The F-Pace’s resale value is way below average for its class, keeping company with the Maserati Grecale and Alfa Romeo Stelvio around the bottom of the rankings. Before buying a new Jaguar F-Pace compact luxury SUV, check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to see what you should be paying. Recouping more money when selling a vehicle can mean a bigger down payment and lower monthly payments on the next one.
At its entry point, the F-Pace P250 R-Dynamic S packs 246 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 6.9-second run from zero to 60 mph, and a top speed of 135 mph. Respectable figures, but nothing we would write home about. We’ve noticed how this base F-Pace is poised and comfortable, though, even in comparison to the excellent BMW X3.
The F-Pace P400 R-Dynamic S brings a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder with both a turbocharger and an electric supercharger contributing to an output of 395 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. These are serious numbers, as are the 5.1-second time to reach 60 mph and the 155 mph top speed (limited electronically). The P400 also has larger front brake discs and an upgraded suspension.
The pinnacle of the 2025 F-Pace range is the SVR, upgraded for 2025 with an additional 25 hp making a total of 567 horses and 516 lb-ft of torque. All that energy slings the F-Pace SVR from a standstill to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, and on to a (limited) top speed of 178 mph. The SVR also gets even larger front brakes with fixed calipers.
When comparing base models, the F-Pace is equal to most of the alternatives. But the P400 loses ground to midrange offerings from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche. The F-Pace SVR is right back in the fight. Its starting price of $93,175, however, makes the BMW X4 M much more attractive — it’s quicker, newer, better handling, and nearly $15,000 less expensive.
Fuel Economy
The most efficient Jaguar F-Pace is the P250 setup, returning 24 mpg combined (22 city/27 highway), only a few mpg behind most of its direct competition. The P400 6-cylinder achieves 21 mpg combined (19 city/25 highway), roughly on par with its rivals. Likewise, the V8-powered SVR rated at 17 mpg combined (15 city/21 highway) — although few buyers of high-performance SUVs care much about fuel economy.
Jaguar’s typically classy style and pleasing materials are found in the F-Pace. Perforated leather upholstery is standard and the seats are comfortable, especially up front with standard heating and 12-way power adjustment.
We’ve also found F-Pace’s interior spacious, with 37 inches of rear legroom, plus abundant hip and shoulder room. The cargo area holds 32.1 cubic feet behind the rear seats, or 70.4 cubic feet behind the front row. While the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 offer similar second-row legroom, the F-Pace’s cargo capacity competes with the one-size-larger X5 and its ilk.
While still a handsome SUV (in our eyes), the F-Pace’s exterior design was more striking in 2017 when it was first introduced. These days, the novelty has worn off. Compared with fresher rivals, we feel the F-Pace’s lines are looking a bit dated.
Alexa-compatible infotainment
An 11.4-inch touchscreen with Jaguar’s Pivi infotainment system enables control of media and Alexa-compatible functions, along with some vehicle functions. This setup also includes wireless charging as well as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto phone integration.
Meridian audio
While a brand-name audio system is typically an optional extra, it’s standard in the F-Pace, with 400 watts of output.
Digital instrument cluster
Another standard feature, the digital instrument cluster in the F-Pace is attractive and easy to read.
Panoramic glass roof
This standard feature brings plenty of light into the cabin and helps it feel even more spacious than it already is.
All-wheel drive
All versions of the F-Pace come standard with all-wheel drive (AWD). In addition to improving wet-weather and snow traction, the F-Pace’s all-wheel-drive system also enhances performance and dynamics, especially in the higher trims.
Standard safety features
The 2025 F-Pace includes lane-keeping assistance, rear traffic monitoring, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with steering assistance, and blind-spot monitoring — all as standard equipment.
The F-Pace P250 R-Dynamic S has a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine making 246 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque.
The mid-range F-Pace P400 R-Dynamic S employs a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder with a turbocharger and an electric supercharger for 395 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.
At the top of the F-Pace range is the F-Pace SVR, with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 now rated at 567 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
All 2025 F-Pace models have all-wheel drive as standard, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
5-Year/60,000-Mile Warranty
In addition to Jaguar’s new vehicle warranty of five years or 60,000 miles, whichever happens first, each new F-Pace also comes with complimentary maintenance and roadside assistance for the same period. This is generous for the luxury SUV class.
Safety Ratings
The F-Pace has not been crash-tested by either the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Standard safety features in the F-Pace include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assistance.
