Jaguar’s midsize crossover SUV has received a raft of enhancements for 2021. Most noticeable is the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace’s new styling, which features a sculpted hood and slim LED headlights, plus revised front and rear fascia and Jaguar “leaper” badges on both side fender vents.
Inside, the changes are equally significant. The all-new interior features the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system, which is designed to more intuitive while also featuring a curved 11.4-inch control screen. Besides over-the-air software updates, Pivi Prol allows two phones to connect via Bluetooth to the F-Pace and be used independently at the same time.
A turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine remains, but the V6 and V8 are gone, replaced by an inline-6 that features an electric supercharger, a twin-scroll single turbocharger, and a belt-driven starter-generator supported by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery.
In the F-Pace S 340, this new inline-6 puts out 335 horsepower. In the F Pace R Dynamics S 400, it puts out 395. The electrical energy captured by the new mild-hybrid system is used to assist the F-Pace’s acceleration and provide smooth automatic restarts for the fuel-saving start/stop system.
An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is full-time all-wheel drive (AWD).
The F-Pace SVR is available exclusively with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 14 lb-ft over last year. It hits 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, 0.3 seconds more quickly than last year.
The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace competes in a crowded segment with many well-established rivals. These include the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC from Germany, as well as the Acura RDX and Volvo XC60.
2021 Jaguar F-PACE pricing starts at $28,450 for the F-PACE P250 Sport Utility 4D, which had a starting MSRP of $51,145 when new. The range-topping 2021 F-PACE SVR Sport Utility 4D starts at $45,973 today, originally priced from $85,750.

Holding true to its roots, the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace enjoys spirited driving, yet its nature also looks out for your comfortable daily drive. At home on most roads — even those that are a touch rugged — the F-Pace is a good soldier.
On the road, the Jaguar F-Pace will remind you of a sports sedan, with a number of available engines, including mild-hybrid-enhanced supercharged inline-6s with 335 or 395 horsepower. The base 4-cylinder serves its purpose, but we’d recommend upgrading to those 6-cylinder models for more spirit and surprisingly good fuel economy. The SVR model provides the pure muscle of a supercharged 550-horsepower V8.
The Jaguar F-Pace knows its way around corners as well, and standard all-wheel drive seals the deal for the Jag’s clean handling. The SVR trim bumps the performance up several notches adding bigger, better brakes and revising the suspension.
The Jaguar F-Pace remains a 2-row crossover SUV with seating for five. Although it’s technically a compact SUV, the F-Pace has good space for people and gear. There’s 33.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat, and 63.5 cubic feet when that seat is folded.
Wholesale improvements have taken place inside the F-Pace for 2021. The cockpit itself is more driver-focused, and there’s a much greater sense of refinement, aided by Active Noise Cancellation.
The new 11.4-inch curved-glass touchscreen draws much of the attention. It’s huge, and the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system has a simplified menu structure that lets you accomplish most tasks om two taps or less. It also allows for over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system allows you to connect two phones simultaneously via Bluetooth. Jaguar says this new screen is brighter than the 10-inch one it replaces, and it’s complemented by a highly configurable 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. It allows for 3D mapping with turn by turn navigational instructions.
Additionally, the finishes and materials inside the new F-Pace have been improved. In addition to aluminum and open-pore wood-veneer trim, the 2021 F-Pace has a metallic rotary-dial shifter inspired by a British cricket ball.
The F-Pace cabin has good width, and a new center console sweeps up to the instrument panel while incorporating a spot for an available wireless charger and additional stowage. Additionally, new seats offer a massage function, wider cushioning, plus larger heated and cooled areas. Select models get the Jaguar Leaper embossed on all interior headrests, and special little upholstery tags that read: “Est.1935 Jaguar Coventry.”
Last, a new upper strip of lighting that encircles the cabin illuminates the interior, while the lower lighting zone supplies what Jaguar calls a “soft waterfall” effect in 10 selectable colors.
The sporty F-Pace R-Dynamic S 400 interior is distinguished by its sport seats, black headliner, and aluminum trim, plus a black leather-covered steering wheel with R-Dynamic badging. The seats are available in bold colors like Mars Red, Siena Tan, Ebony, and Light Oyster.
In the F-Pace SVR, the seat and door inserts are finished in Alcantara, a high-quality synthetic suede. The 12.3-in. interactive driver display also is wrapped in Alcantara, and the unique split-rim steering wheel has shift paddles made of a zinc alloy.
With the new 2021 Jaguar F-Pace, a muscular good-looking compact SUV has been made to look more handsome and modern without losing any of its identity. In front, it has a sculpted new hood, revised intakes, and slim LED headlights that flank an enlarged grille with a diamond pattern. In the back, the slim taillights feature the double chicane graphic first seen on the electric I-Pace, while the side vents now feature the Jaguar leaper emblem.
The F-Pace R-Dynamic S 400 looks the part, equipped with an R-Dynamic body kit that includes special door cladding, a unique grille, and bumper inserts. If you want a sporty F-Pace without forking over the big money for an R-Dynamics S 400, an available Black Exterior Pack gives the standard F-Pace a rich high-buck look.
As for the potent F-Pace SVR, it has had its air inlets improved for better cooling of the powertrain and brakes. This also results in better aerodynamics and reduced aerodynamic lift.
11.4-INCH CURVED TOUCHSCREEN
All 2021 Jaguar F-Pace models now a large curved touchscreen, which is encased in a magnesium alloy. This 11.4-inch screen replaces last year’s flat 10-inch unit. It provides access to the latest Pivi Pro infotainment, which has a simplified menu structure that allows for most common tasks to be accomplished in two taps or less.
SUPERCHARGED AND TURBOCHARGED INLINE-6
This engine, standard in the S 340 and the R-Dynamics S 400, has an electric supercharger, so there’s no wait for boost. And at high rpm, the twin-scroll turbo takes over for excellent passing power on the highway. It’s further aided by a 48-volt mild hybrid system that makes for smooth automatic restarts.
Even at the base P 250 level, the Jaguar F-Pace is well-equipped. That 11.4-inch touchscreen is standard, and the Pivi infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with the navigation program you like to use on your smartphone.
Other standard features include heated seats and a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, along with Active Road Noise Cancellation, automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The SVR has Pivi Pro infotainment, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, Active Road Noise Cancellation, wireless device charging, the full assortment of driver assists, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Several F-Pace options are notable. These include a wearable activity key that can be used to lock, unlock, and start this Jaguar SUV without having a conventional key fob present in the vehicle. The charge of this activity key, which incorporates a watch, lasts seven days.
Also optional: Cabin Air Ionization. With this system, the interior air quality of the F-Pace starts to improve the moment you hit a button marked “Purify.” This system has PM2.5 filtration, which captures ultra-fine particles to start improving interior air quality and occupant comfort.
The new F-Pace also is available with a head-up display (HUD) and a Black Exterior Pack, a blacked-out appearance kit.
On the SVR, sport seats upholstered in diamond-embroidered semi-aniline leather also are available.
There are five Jaguar F-Pace models for 2021: the 4-cylinder P 250 and P 250 S, plus the 6-cylinder S 340 and R-Dynamics S 400. The SVR is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with a whopping 516 lb-ft of torque.
Only the 6-cylinder models have the 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

Automatic emergency braking
Standard on all 2021 Jaguar F-Pace models, this system senses an impending forward collision and will apply the brakes automatically to prevent the accident or lessen the severity of it.
Blind-spot monitoring
In addition to active lane control and parking sensors, the new Jaguar F-Pace has a blind-spot monitor, which improves lane changes by letting you know there is a car or motorcycle in your blind spot. It’s teamed with rear cross-traffic alert, which makes backing out of blind parking spots much less risky.
Clear Exit Monitor
New for 2021, the F-Pace gets a Clear Exit Monitor. This feature warns F-Pace passengers not to exit the stopped vehicle if it senses dangerous traffic coming from behind.
