The full-size luxury SUV class is not generally associated with value, but there’s one surprising bargain in this class. The Infiniti QX80 is the most affordable option in this segment by a considerable margin, and its quality is anything but cheap. It has a standard V8 engine, a premium interior with modern tech features, and styling that can’t be ignored. It goes toe-to-toe with the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Lexus LX.
2023 INFINITI QX80 pricing starts at $43,901 for the QX80 LUXE Sport Utility 4D, which had a starting MSRP of $77,495 when new. The range-topping 2023 QX80 SENSORY Sport Utility 4D starts at $52,708 today, originally priced from $89,145.

The Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price for any individual used vehicle can vary greatly according to mileage, condition, location, and other factors. The prices here reflect what buyers are currently paying for used 2023 INFINITI QX80 models in typical condition when purchasing from a dealership. These prices are updated weekly.
The Infiniti QX80 drives like a big SUV, but it’s more refined than a pickup truck. The standard V8 engine under the hood delivers plenty of thrust with commanding acceleration, even when this SUV is loaded with passengers and cargo. The engine is a great match for this SUV, and the suspension makes the ride feel luxurious.
The top Sensory trim comes with what Infiniti calls Body Motion Control. It’s a hydraulic system that evenly distributes pressure where needed, resulting in a more stable ride with less body roll.
This luxury SUV has no delusions about its ruggedness, but it has decent off-road capabilities when equipped with 4-wheel drive thanks to its 2-speed transfer case and generous ground clearance. This popular option makes traveling on snowy roads a breeze.
The cabin of the Infiniti QX80 is luxurious and roomy in the first two rows. We can’t help but notice that much of this interior design dates back to 2011, when this SUV debuted as the QX56. But, the recently revised center stack is crowned with a sleek infotainment system with modern features like wireless Apple CarPlay.
Although it’s the biggest SUV in the Infiniti lineup, the third row of the QX80 is a bit tight for an SUV this big. We found the legroom a bit lacking; these seats are best reserved for kids. Some of its rivals — especially the roomy Lincoln Navigator — are more family-friendly for drivers planning on using the third row regularly. That said, the QX80 boasts above-average cargo space, which is cavernous when you fold down all of the rear seats.
The Infiniti QX80 wears its sheer bigness with poise and style. The large grille, stylish wheels, and tasteful use of chrome make this a classy-looking SUV with an imposing presence.
It’s worth noting that the Infiniti QX80 only comes in one length. The Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Jeep Grand Wagoneer are all available in longer versions with increased cargo room, so you can choose big or bigger.
Brawny V8
The standard V8 engine under the hood cranks out 400 horsepower providing a satisfying driving experience. It also has an impressive towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds.
Infiniti Premium Care
Infiniti Premium Care is a complimentary maintenance plan that comes with all 2023 Infiniti models. Inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, brake fluid changes, and cabin air filter replacements are covered for three years.
Semi-aniline leather seating
The quilted semi-aniline leather upholstery in the Sensory trim takes the QX80 to the next level of luxury. These seats are not only supremely comfortable with top-notch material quality but they’re heated and cooled in front and heated in the second row.
Infiniti InTouch infotainment system
This user-friendly 12.3-inch infotainment system is packed with desirable features like Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, navigation, HD Radio, and wireless charging. A 13-speaker audio system comes standard, and it’s upgradeable to a 17-speaker Bose system.
Luxurious second row
Second-row captain’s chairs are standard in the QX80, but a bench in the second row is a no-cost option. There’s a lot of space in this large SUV’s second row, and the center console improves comfort and convenience.
Rear entertainment system
The optional rear entertainment system in the QX80 puts two 8-inch screens behind the front-seat headrests. Passengers can enjoy their own media, adding an extra level of luxury for the second-row occupants.
Every Infiniti QX80 is equipped with an authoritative 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Rated at 400 horsepower with a tow rating of up to 8,500 pounds, this SUV is up for towing boats and campers while loaded with passengers without breaking a sweat. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and 4-wheel drive is optional.
This engine is a good match for the QX80, but the poor fuel economy and premium fuel requirement adds up to high fuel costs for the QX80.

The Infiniti QX80 is backed by a 4-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. This coverage is slightly better than what’s typical among luxury brands and its competitors.
