I did not drive this new car, because, after I looked it over and sat in it I knew it was not for me. The front seemed cramped for a 6'1" 180pound man. Also, it has very little cargo capacity. In fact no more than many hatchbacks. I have owned the larger Infinity Suv's in the past. All were rear wheel drive and I have no idea how the FWD would compare. It was just too small and too cheap looking, but the sticker was not cheap. No value for me here.

When I first saw this car I fell in love with the looks. I purchased the model with all the bells and whistles in April 2017. The salesperson provided inaccurate information which has contributed to my disappointment of the car. However, I have had so many issues with the technology malfunctioning that I now regret purchasing the car. Here are a few of the issues Ive experienced. Navigation goes dark while driving. It only lasts about 5 - 10 seconds but it is annoying. Cannot sit with accessory power on. Battery drains too fast. Front collision warning going off while sitting at a red light. Adaptive headlights malfunction in different weather conditions. Receive various error messages in different weather conditions that sonar and radar has malfunctioned while driving. And, after acknowledging the error it keeps popping up every few minutes while driving. There doesnt appear to be a way of turning it off. It is a huge disappointment to spend this kind of money and have so many issues. Additionally, it is missing some basic features that I feel a luxury brand should have. For example, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, power lift gate and remote start function. Its not just my car its the model. Ive been given a QX30 as a loaner while they work on my car and have experienced issues with them as well.

Have had zero problems original tires did wear . Fun to drive get a lot of head turns. Seats are very comfortable good lumbar support. Zero problems. Quiet ride. Love the moon roof. Gas mileage fair. Has alot over pep and get in and out of traffic without any problems.

Terrible Reliability
This car has had countless problems and already $8,500 in repairs. Took it to dealership after finally getting Covid vaccine to find out it needed over $6,000 worth of repairs and the warranty ran out 4 weeks previously. Did not matter. Now, the engine fans stopped working and it is an additional $2,300.

TOO MANY TO NAME. DON'T BUY IT
This car is an admitted lemon by Infiniti service departments. There are a multitude of malfunctioning components, with no resolution. The shell is Infiniti but the engine and electronics are Mercedes which is foreign to Infiniti master technicians and service departments. The car looks great but the glitchy issues are a nonstop nuisance. The dashboard notifications are endless and impossible to resolve, the back up camera stays on when in drive intermittently. Currently I am on month 4 of the check engine light being on, on my second dealership, my countless "master" tech who feels it necessary to explain AGAIN that the engine and electronics are Mercedes and that's why they can't figure out the issue. THEY REFER TO IT AS A LEMON! My car is still under the manufacturer warranty, in the last 3 months I've spent all but one week in a loaner while my car sits at the dealership for the check engine light. I don't even blame the service department, (this actually my second service department) they have no clue how to fix the car. The explanations from Infiniti have been consistent. The collaboration between Infiniti and Mercedes was a complete failure. DO YOUR RESEARCH....the Infiniti forums are full of identical issues and complaints that Infiniti ignores! They have stopped production of the QX30 but those of us who own the car are just out of luck. You will be treated like a a burden when you have your car serviced. Two separate Inifiniti service departments have given me the exact same explanation of why the issues cannot be resolved, almost verbatim. Today I got my car back...15 minutes into the drive home...the check engine light came on. I GAVE UP!

Back seat is ok, could use more power & features
I have had this car for 3 years. Nothing majorly has gone wrong with it. The only repairs I had to make were a faulty tire pressure sensor and a malfunctioning antifreeze/washer fluid chip. The back is pretty stiff so it isn’t great for long trips. It is very good on gas. I average between 26-28 in the city and about 35-38 on the highway.

This SUV is so underrated, INFINITI made a mistake not continuing this in their lineup, hopefully they bring it back. It's quick, fast and a joy to drive! I bought the black SPORT, best looking car on the road. Yes its a bit over styled but it is as close to perfection as possible.. Its a "Racecar" in sheep's clothing, faster than my MINI COOPER S. IF you can find the SPORT model jump on it, you will regret it, it was made for commuting and occasional family use, I am never selling this car EVER! HINT: Drop in an aftermarket K/N or Amazon air filter and the TURBO becomes a BEAST!!!
