Positive Review
As much as we admire MB E350s, Audi A6/A7s, BMW 5 series, or the Jaguars the Infinti Q70 is the real deal. Especially in the Sport variant of the 3.7. This car has been disparaged in the auto press, which I do not understand as it is highly competent. One does not need a super car to enjoy the ride; one needs a companion in arms. This the Q 70 S delivers in spades for value. It's big - bigger than any of the above mentioned; has a gorgeous interior; and handles just about as well as its younger sibling, the Q50. In Sport trim the 3.7 is no slouch with 20" wheels and big brakes. Would one pay $20000 more to get the cachet or would one pay a reasonable price to get great reliability and great service? Not to mention a great car.
Critical Review
This particular vehicle had a problem with its oil injector on the bank two driving chain, causing premature failure of the chain. Out of warranty it is a $4200 repair.

I own a Lexus gs and ls and the ride and quality of the q70 Infiniti is equal to the lexus ..and at a substantial lower price $$$. reliability is on par with Lexus..I’ve had no issues with Infiniti other than normal maintenance..plus it has more safety features…
Engine and transmission perform flawlessly
Power window are a problem
My car has 130.000 miles its 7 years old and has never failed to perform. It has just enough power and torque to make it fun to drive and not loose my driving privileges. The only problem I have had consistently since the first day are the power windows. The engine and the transmission have performed flawlessly. I like Japanese sedans . Very dependable.
Brought this vehicle in 2017 as a certified preowned vehicle, no major issues. Up until 12/4/23, I only had to get oil changes and buy tires. On 12/4/23, I had an oil change, rotors resurfaced, two belts replaced and spark plugs replaced because the plugs had been in the vehicle for 7yrs. The Q70L-V8 has been a GREAT Vehicle. The dealership also give me an offer, but they have no vehicle that I will replace it with and they didn't make many Q70L-V8s (5.6). I trade it for an EV sedan if they come out with one on the level of the Q70L-V8.
Reliable, Beautiful, Fun to Drive
Gas mileage could be better
10.5 years and 117,000 miles in and the only repair costs that were not scheduled maintenance have been brakes, tires, and a fog light that got shattered by a stone. I am a big guy and the car fits me better than 90%+ of the vehicles out there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I find both the interior and exterior to be top of the class. The standard car suspension is the way I like it. A bit firm for a sporty feel. The sport model with the optional low profile tires, stiffer springs and dual shocks rides REAL hard. One other note, I just had my car detailed and both the interior and exterior look close to brand new. This despite the fact that it has always been parked outside in my driveway and it has been relatively neglected from a cleaning and waxing standpoint. This tells me Infiniti's paint work and interior materials were top notch.
roomy, appearance, gas mileage, bluetooth, safety
No car play
I bought this Q70L as my retirement from the military 6 years ago. I have not had one problem out of it. It's roomy, looks luxurious, and has pretty good gas mileage!
Everything
Premium fuel is not cheap.
Best car I have ever driven or owned. Had it for a year now and only have had to replace the battery.
Powerful engine, quite interior, ex/in design
suspension could be a little too firm
Owner since 2016, in general is very good. Only had 3 issues during my ownership. One is related to the suspension, but a minor part, cost 200. Then the right hand side heating stopped working, but cost over 1000 to diagnose according to the service bulletin, which is pretty expensive because this is only for them to start the job, not fixing the problem. Then my Y pipe is very rusted because of the Canadian winter, i had to replace it. Overall it has been very reliable, sporty, luxury interior design. I like the interior design very much. One thing I don't like this car is that the suspension tuning is between sporty and comfortable, which is kind bothering me, because the oem tire yokohama tire is too firm, very bumpy. But I use my winter tires, it is much more comfortable. I really like the car.
Rides smooth
Price a little high
I love my car, when I got a flat tire after I hit an object on the freeway, the safety feature came on and I immediately pulled over to safety. Great Job :-)
