Positive Review
I've driven a lot of cars - about one new one every 2-3 years. I've test driven many of the Q50 competition. We've owned a G35X, G37X, IS350, ATS, GS350. Before I purchased the Q50 AWD Hybrid, I drove all of the competition. I thought I would go with a 335 X-drive but was disappointed in it's handling -surprisingly not as good as previous model series. ATS AWD handled better but was too slow and light (not as good in the Chicago snows) plus multiple design issues and CUE issues. So,I chose the Q50 AWD Hybrid and actually purchased it (typically always lease). I was hooked. Once I turned off most of the driving assistance tech and was in full control of my driving experience, I knew this was my favorite car. It accelerated like a rocket. It handled beautifully - turned corners at high speeds perfectly with barely any body lean. The directive adaptive steering is fun to play with - my favorite is Sport with either heavy or standard steering. The gas mileage averages 29 in the city, 34 on the highway. The Bose system is the best. The dual screens is one of the smartest moves. I hated having to choose between audio and navi on one screen when now I can see both at the same time. The car is solid, looks aggresive, love the headlights. All around impressive. Zero to 60 in 4.9 sec while getting 30MPH with great handling and great tunes... what more could you ask for?
Critical Review
My Infiniti Q50 is only 8 months old and has been recalled twice, had a leaking differential seal, 2 sensors went bad, numerous error messages, even one telling me to shut the car off, software issues along with screen issues. I no longer have any confidence in this vehicle and I certainly regret this purchase. Infiniti will not take back this Lemon, so I now have to research my state's Lemon Law.

Bought new when model first came out. Still looks new now. Never a problem. May be the best car of the many that I have owned.
I'm on my second Q50S and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! One of the most fun and reliable cars I have ever owned/driven (and this is vehicle #39). I now have the 2023 Opal edition and LOVE the color and interior. Features are nice and seats are comfortable. Display interface is easy to navigate. Car drives smooth and handles well even in snow. These are low maintenance vehicles with superb reliability. If Infiniti keeps making these cars I will keep buying them!
I have had my Q50 for about 6 months. Bought it as a CPO car with 20K miles. So far, so very very good. I love the looks and the handling. The car came with run flats, which I ditched right away. Regular tires made the car MUCH more comfortable and actually improved the handling. The engine is quite powerful and the trans is fine. The steering is precise if a bit dead. The car is also quiet and the sound system is top notch. The Info/NAV is confusing, as they provide so many options, it is like programming a computer. Love the fold down read seats and AWD for the winter. Very very nice, indeed.
Reliable, fun engine, sexy, comfortable
Lousy steering, fuel economy is so so
Have now had this car for 6 months. Have had plenty of long trips and short ones. My overall verdict is that this is a great car. In 2020 they added apple carplay and android auto. Carplay definitely refreshes the car and makes it very enjoyable. Furthermore, mine is a Silver Sport. Adds 16 speaker bose, and akebono brakes. The speakers sound amazing! The engine is fun and the drive is typically smooth. I personally think this is great for long trips. However, much like any other vehicle this one is not perfect. I find that the steering is a bit too light for my taste. Additionally I wish that they could add more spaces to place your phone and keys as the only places are the sides of your doors, the center console, and the cupholders. Space is fine otherwise however. This changed for 2021 but for customers looking for an older model, Infiniti does not give BOSE standard to the lower trim models. You are left with a standard 6 speaker. I think that should be considered a crime. For customers looking for a platform to modify, this vehicle has a LOT of potential. I have not yet but might consider later down the line. One major important thing to note is that currently there have been no issues or anything breaking down. At this time I am only at 40k mi. I love this car
Beautiful. Sporty.
Tech sucks. Guzzler. luxury lacking.
Comparing the bells n whistles this car falls short. Comparing pure aesthetics and joy of driving this car is a winner.
I test drove many cars before arriving at the Q50S AWD. I liked some of the tech features of the Audi (the full digital dash is cool) but the turbo 4 cylinder didn't give you the same excitement...frankly it was boring. The C class was pretty, had a nice interior and I loved all the lighting and unnecessary bells and whistles but drivability and cost of ownership made it any easy pass. The Lexus was harder. Their certified used program is the best, the cars are excellent quality but frankly, they look old. The equivalent Lexus is a optioned out Camry. I had a Camry and they are great, but I wouldn't say it looks young or fun. BMW in the same price range was older and more miles so I didn't even consider them. After all my searching the Q was the one I wanted and after a year owning, my only complaint is the intouch system and how in explicated does not work on the Infiniti flagship car. Which means I can't remotely start my car with my phone or track my maintenance. This is annoying but wasn't a deal breaker. I love the auto heated seats and steering wheel, the rain sensing wipers, the performance and sound. The trunk is surprisingly large and the back seat is much more spacious than expected. The color is great and I get many comments and looks when she is all cleaned up. I love this car and would recommend the car and brand to anyone
