Positive Review
It is amazing how good these cars are. Quality probably supersedes Mercedes( I own them too) and ride is fantastic I would not sell it nor at 10,000 dlls. It is worth much more in service and quality NO noises, squeaks and whatever

Excellent performance and comfort ride
Front seats need to be designed better if you 6'
1999 Q45 with 80k - bought it with 40k - still going strong. ultra smooth ride, decent interior. The seats are ok and not suitable for anyone over 6'2". If it had better front seats it would be even better. V8 is quick and responsive. This is a heavy car and heavier than my 99 lincoln coming in at over 4klbs. The 17 inch wheels always looked small and I installed Infiniti 18" wheels using first Michelin and now Tiger Paws. AC still working after 20+ years. I did have to install new Hitachi coil packs and plugs, plus power steering pump failed at 80k. Regular oil changes. Belts had to be changed at 70k and there are 4. Transmission is fine and serviced at 50k. Radiator cracked at 75k and had to be replaced. Still original water pump. Exterior paint ok and my unit has the Hunter Green paint with Camel interior. Still showroom shiny with regular washing. Seats holding up.
Most comfortable luxury ride. Looks like new.
Window gaskets wear causing slight wind noise hwy
This car runs like a champ. Super powerful but quiet and luxurious. Stereo is Bose and its awesome. Automatic seat and steering wheel adjustment with 2 settings. Handles like a dream. What a luxury car should be. Never planned to keep this car so long but I have no reason to give it up. The newer Infiniti’s are all much smaller. This is close to or is a Full Size car. Room for 5. The paint job is amazing. Garage kept but it looks like new. Clear coat on metallic White. Beautiful leather interior, A pleasure to drive on long trips with such a smooth ride. After almost 20 years my maintenance costs other than tires, and brakes are ridiculously low. Most recently I replaced the Radiator fan. $350 installed. The old fan was still fully intact, just showing some age. So A preventative measure. And I once had to replace a couple bad Spark plug coils which were around $300 each. I know only one was bad. But that cured an intermittent misfire when idling. I get compliments on how nice the car is all the time. At it’s current Trade in value (very low) I intend to keep it forever. If I get a new car I will have this Q45 for guests.
Reliable comfort, pleasurable driving experience
Minor cosmetic paint work planned
Purchased through a private party, low intensity driving usage: local, daily trips to & from employment. Non smoker, consistently maintained before & since. All new tires (July 2016) replaced power steering pump and front hood stabilizers May 2016. Vehicle passed local air quality inspection through City of Albuquerque June 2016. Next item is oil change, filter & lubrication scheduled August 2016.
beautiful inside and out
expensive to repair
love this car, starting to cost too much to repair.

what a car
Great ride. Classy looking
Not the best vehicle in the snow.
Owned a 2000 Q45 for over 12 years, and I spent less than $1000 on it, related to repairs. (Does not include tires, brakes and oil changes, which was about another $1500.) That's a total of $2500 over 12 years, or about $200 a year. I wish all my vehicles were as reliable!
Quality and reliabilty
Needs better acceleration and Brakes are NOT GOOD

Beautiful, elegant, smooth, quiet
I don't know if there are any cons....
Beautiful to look at, wonderful to drive. Never any major issues. My car currently has approximately 220,000 miles and still drives like a dream. Sound system is incredible. Only ever done minor repairs. Been on countless road trips. I absolutely love this car.
