What Owners are Saying About the 2004 Hyundai XG350

"Exact replica of 90's Lexus but better"

"This old lady is the best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The rare occasions she has needed work were very affordable. She has been through several terrible teenage drivers and I love her."

"good value, reliable,"

"Owned a 2004 since 2004, found it to be reliable, but when it did have to go into the garage, it took a while for the service reps to localize and repair the problem as identified by the computer. great gas mileage, fantastic confort on long trips, but noticed some wind sound above 85 MPH. would cruise at 80-90 all day long."

"An amazing Grand Tourer, but."

"It's a great car! It handles very well, but it's front wheel drive remember, so it's not some super car or pure sports car. It's an excellent daily driver, parts are fairly plentiful & affordable, it's very comfortable with a quiet cabin & great Infinity sound system (I changed the rears to Kenwoods because the prior owner stole the Infinity speakers), it's quite fast really, has more than enough torque (216-220ft.lbs. and 194-200hp), I have no trouble pulling out into traffic or merging onto the freeway (I've personally got it up to 118mph but wouldn't go faster due to tire grade limitations/cheap tires), and it's Honestly to me a beautiful car that's only getting better as I continue to tastefully modify it. I've replaced the entire suspension setup with Stage 0.5 Spec equipment (just a hair better than OEM/Mevotech parts) and it cost me about $500 to do so (with careful shopping & getting items on sale. The one major issue I have is a worn Torque Converter & Trans Fluid Pump, but the car still drives & shifts just like it should, it just has a whine that sounds like a bad power Steering pump & a supercharger combined but not nearly as loud & of course is the two parts I mentioned. It weighs about 3700lbs and you wouldn't think it by the way thay 4 wheel independent suspension gets that car around corners! My second car is going to be a 1999-2004 or 2005 Lexus GS 300 (2JZ with VVT-I Baby!!!) But I'm hopefully going to have this car forver & will one day electrify it when it becomes cheaper & easier to do so. It's been a great car to work on for the most part (I do my own repairs & especially maintenance) and can't emphasize enough how gratifying it is to do vehicle repairs, upgrades, & maintenance yourself! I just wish there was an aftermarket tuner scene for it, which is why I'm going to buy a Lexus GS 300 with of course the best engine ever made. My engine in the XG350L runs like butter, tons of acceleration & torque, and if you bury your foot to the floor it takes off like a rocket!"
