Positive Review
This was my first car and I loved it. Leather seats are nice but when it gets hot outside it makes me wish I had fabric seats. Slick body design though it is hard to keep up with rust on the chrome trim. It's fast, I got it up to 120mph, I didn't go faster becuase the wheel was getting wobbly. Good acceleration.

Runs good and looks good
They dont make them anymore
If they were still making them i would buy a new one i have a 2004 with 144.000 mls still running strong i changed the transmission oil a few times around presently due for another and regular oil change few repairs here and there but nothing major, i then bought a 2010 Hyundai Genesis 4 door sedan and im dissapointed in the materials they use especially the dash the gear shifter etc made really cheap compared to the XG, everyone has their own opinion about these cars but i would drive mines anywhere in the US thats how much i know and trust this car had it since 2010 the clear coat is peeling in some areas but overall i love it and would buy another even a used one .
Loud speakers
Horrible driving
This car will get you from a to b. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody who doesn’t want to or know how to fix cars
Very low mileage for a 21 yr old car. Average 6381 per yr. Great, comfortable road car. Very good mechanical condition. No recalls. This was the high end of Hyundai that yr, and is size of a large 4 dr pp car. Very good physical condition but two minor paint blems that you'd have to look for. Had it painted dark grey 2020. Beautiful paint job and was slightly damaged by other party backing out of parking space. Reason for selling? Finally bought a new car. Current Kelley Blue Book says this vehicles private party value in Very Good Condition is $2,661. In Good condition private party value $2,294. I'd meet you in the middle at $2,478. But if you want to just cut out dickering on price I'll take $2,000.
Fun to drive plenty of power
Can't think of any
This is 2nd car. My husband had heart attack and passed away 1 month later. But after looking for a dependable auto when I bought 02 in 2008, and him surviving accident I wanted another. I had researched this vehicle so I bought 03 in 2014. After 7 years I could get into my car and trust I could go anywhere. The clear coat had began peeling but car parked outside, so understandable. I kept maintenance up on auto as needed to keep going. Had very little mechanic work, other than brakes and tune up or necessary maintenance I could not either have like oil change or do myself. Like another review the dash was curling up where defrost vents are. I am older so did not care to drive too fast but in 2014 I did get to 115 mph and still had room to keep going faster. I drive speed limit. This car had plenty of power for me to get on freeways, in intersections to cross and so forth. I call her my baby, as I did not plan to buy another car for at 3 to 5 more years. June 2021, an 18 wheeler decided to kiss my front end. Even with that I did not get seriously hurt. My heart broken over my car, and it was hit and run. But I just had sore body due to impact and stress. I would buy another if Hyundai still made this model.
Handles so very well, fast, & very comfortable!!!!
Transmission Fluid Pump, & Torque Converter issues
It's a great car! It handles very well, but it's front wheel drive remember, so it's not some super car or pure sports car. It's an excellent daily driver, parts are fairly plentiful & affordable, it's very comfortable with a quiet cabin & great Infinity sound system (I changed the rears to Kenwoods because the prior owner stole the Infinity speakers), it's quite fast really, has more than enough torque (216-220ft.lbs. and 194-200hp), I have no trouble pulling out into traffic or merging onto the freeway (I've personally got it up to 118mph but wouldn't go faster due to tire grade limitations/cheap tires), and it's Honestly to me a beautiful car that's only getting better as I continue to tastefully modify it. I've replaced the entire suspension setup with Stage 0.5 Spec equipment (just a hair better than OEM/Mevotech parts) and it cost me about $500 to do so (with careful shopping & getting items on sale. The one major issue I have is a worn Torque Converter & Trans Fluid Pump, but the car still drives & shifts just like it should, it just has a whine that sounds like a bad power Steering pump & a supercharger combined but not nearly as loud & of course is the two parts I mentioned. It weighs about 3700lbs and you wouldn't think it by the way thay 4 wheel independent suspension gets that car around corners! My second car is going to be a 1999-2004 or 2005 Lexus GS 300 (2JZ with VVT-I Baby!!!) But I'm hopefully going to have this car forver & will one day electrify it when it becomes cheaper & easier to do so. It's been a great car to work on for the most part (I do my own repairs & especially maintenance) and can't emphasize enough how gratifying it is to do vehicle repairs, upgrades, & maintenance yourself! I just wish there was an aftermarket tuner scene for it, which is why I'm going to buy a Lexus GS 300 with of course the best engine ever made. My engine in the XG350L runs like butter, tons of acceleration & torque, and if you bury your foot to the floor it takes off like a rocket!
classy
dash board
Car has a lot of bells and whistles and programmed equiptment.
Inconspicuous, looks like half the cars.
None
This old lady is the best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The rare occasions she has needed work were very affordable. She has been through several terrible teenage drivers and I love her.
V6 engine, new tires, runs great
interior peeling dash and driver handle
Runs perfectly normal, New tires, Oil is changed every 3,000 miles, interior dash is coming up, driver door handle is chipping metallic coat, V6 engine, 17/23 mpg city/freeway, I drive a lot and it runs perfectly normal the only thing is the trunk light is broken, but it is reliable from point A to point B I have gone on many beach trips and short one day road trips and never had a problem with it, I would keep this car but I just graduated high school and need something a little better on gas, full it goes Approximately 325 miles.
