Positive Review
Sold my Porsche Boxster S and Porsche Cayenne Turbo and bought Genesis. To heck with brand cache. I loved the Boxster and had problems with the Cayenne. Friends asked if I was in financial difficuly. No, I just needed a better car for new job with much driving. Genesis has been awesome and truly a surprise. My first Asian car and it has been great to drive, no issues, fast, comfortable and great driving for bargain price.
Critical Review
After 63k miles (interstate), car is less than 3 years old, Hyundai denied the 100k power train warranty to replace a warped flywheel / clutch kit. I've driven standards since I was 15 and I'm now 50 and never had a flywheel warp. Hyundai refused to cover and said the damage ($4,700 to replace/install) is drive abuse. I will never own another Hyundai again.

I found my 2011 Hyundai Genesis at Mc Clarity Ford. In Bentonville Arkansas. I was amazed at how informative the sales guy was. They have wonderful cars and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Please if you want a great car check them out. They get a 5 Star from this lady. Keep up the good work.
As a second owner, I was looking for a fully loaded sedan with all the features of far more expensive prestige brands, and the 2014 Hyundai Genesis delivered. For nearly six years, car has only required oil changes, tire rotations, and one new battery (Texas batteries last maybe 2/12-3 years at most). Genesis has a huge trunk, good gas mileage (mid to high 20s), full leather, cooled seats. The infotainment was adequate (easy connection with iPhone), but slightly dated. Overall, a great value.
115,00 miles, car is in excellent condition, I've driven it for three years, not a week goes without some complimenting what a sharp looking vehicle it is. Only maintenance in 3 years; Oil and Filter, and the display screen went out. Replaced it with one from ebay $50, $100 install.
the car has an amazing pickup. never had a problem with it still running good after 131,000 miles. very comfortable ride and handles excellently,,, yes I would buy the car again.
You could easily live in this car if you had too,
Gas is TOO Expensive, does take 87
This is my 2nd Genesis, my 1st one got totalled, it was a head on collision and I believe that car, saved his life, it was also was a, hit and run. I purchased a second one in July, 2022 a few more years older, with less miles. Very luxurious and spacious, plus the more sufficient power outlets for everything., sometimes the speed makes me nervous it has a lot of amenities and features. This is 2023 and I would like to try the newer technology .

I sacrificed average MPG compared to what I had
I just purchased this vehicle in August 2022. One previous owner. Only drove it an average of 3400 miles/year. I've been driving a 2010 Sonata that had 163000. I never had to put a dime into it for repairs other than brakes and oil changes. The paint was a mess though. This Genesis is more car than I've ever had! It's definitely a few grades above what I'm typically used to. The touch screen interface is troublesome. Not all of the radio presets work and the other buttons are difficult to operate. I've looked into aftermarket options and they don't seem to exist. It is a 10 year old vehicle. However, Bluetooth and my iPhone offer plenty of functionality. I also haven't memorized the voice commands yet so that should quell some of the issues. I'm looking forward to enjoying the luxury and reliability of this car for a while!
Power, comfort, solid feel, safety features, looks
Gas mileage. Large V6. 333hp expected low MPG.
Purchased in 2017 and have only had to replace the battery. Reliable, comfortable. Good looking ride.
