Positive Review
I've owned over 40 cars in my lifetime, including a '67 Camaro SS and a 911 Porsche. I bought a 2012 Genesis Coupe and liked it enough to buy a 2016. I've owned it for 4 years, and haven't found anything on the market I like enough to purchase as a replacement. It has monster horsepower, great handling, a comfortable and stylish interior, and is great for road trips. And it has surprisingly good gas mileage.
Critical Review
Words can't express how disappointed I am with this car. Vehicle is always in the wrong gear when power is needed and has to downshift a couple of gears to find power, then the car simply lurches forward as the engine roars. The engineers must have been snickering when the bosses said build an 8speed auto in a 4 cylinder laggy turbo. The only way to really drive this car is with the paddle shifters. Also Hyundai overstated EPA estimates by 14%, reducing mileage on the 2.0 Premium down to 17 mpg from 21 mpg. This car is a joke.

Just about everything is a pro.
Everyone knows that a 2 dr coupe isn’t going to br
My 13 Genesis Coupe had been wrecked twice before my purchase in 2018. The low miles 25000 drew me in so I took a chance. Just an incredible 2 dr coupe and I’ll delete the “for the money” qualifier. IF you can find a well cared for Genesis Coupe don’t hesitate to spend some money and enjoy the experience for the lifetime of your financing. No remorse.
Best car for the money period. Driven across country 0 complaints. 37mpg avg highway. 25mpg avg in town. I change oil rotate tires etc per the maintenance schedule. Nice brakes and comfortable ride. Mine is 6 speed no problems! Oil temp gauge is handy. Push button start I love. Leather is thin my friends dog punctured the back seat. Left window sticks at times. Sunroof I use alot 0 problems. I'd buy another 😂
Style is really good
Some paint chips

I think that Hyundai made a serious mistake when they discontinued making the Genesis Coupe. It is an awesome car to drive, very stylish and I have loved having it since I bought it brand new in 2013. I am about to sell it though to get a different vehicle but it will not be another Genesis because I do not want the G70 4-door model. I hate to sell it because it is still amazing.

This car has been simply amazing.... I used to get bullied by trucks and weak sports cars and disrespected on the road but not in this thing.... Looks, sounds and feels great. Very sporty, very slick. This is one of those cars you always look back at... Overall experience is 5/5 It is the best balance between tuner and muscle, great fuel economy when casual driving and if you're willing to burn the gas she will go when you want her too with a high output 2L.
Nice car go vroom. Very fast but slow. Best looking car out there.....................................
Reliable, RWD and fast

Car is deservingly fast, beautiful color and great gas mileage. Friends have said how surprised they were when driving it. I am constantly told what a beautiful color it is.
