Positive Review
I absolutely love my Azera. It's very sleek and stylish, but still within a modest budget. Everyone that rides in it comments on how smooth the ride is. It drives very well- has great pick up and can stop on a dime. I love the option to switch to manual transmission- great for passing other cars. : ) Gas mileage is decent- usually around 20-21 mpg for mostly city driving. Great for long trips, it's spacious and the seats are very comfortable. My favorite feature is the sun shade for the rear window. Hyundai is a fantastic company and backs their product with a great warranty. I definitely recommend this vehicle!
Critical Review
purchased new 06 Azera Limited Dec 06, 2006 Has had timing chain break at 3400 miles has had vibration since day one at hiway speeds, they have replaced tires 2 times and still not repaired, been driving for 2 years with vibration, air bag was defective, required removal of entire dash, when replaced it rattled and screws were falling out on my feet, very poor construction materials, dont fall for the comparision pamplet bettween Lexus and Hyundai, NO comparision ,electronics are junk, power locks , windows failed, had to replace components. this car is not a quality vehicle, mileage 14 mpg , not good car has 16,000 miles and trade in value is $11,870.00 paid $29,000.00 you decide if this is something you would purchase

Note that I am writing about a 2006 Hyundai in 2023! Reliability can't be surpassed. Never done anything but oil, brakes, tires. Power and pickup are crazy. I'm out and have passed in a minute. Never a scary moment Have driven it on long trips 6-7 hrs, nothing in my arthritic body hurt, and I did not feel fatigued when I arrived. This car was built to cruise! In town I notice it has a wide turning range which is not particularly fun, but manageable. This was mentioned in reviews before I bought it, along with the not economical gas usage. It's the most comfortable car I've ever driven, and I've had a lot of rentals. My brother's 2007 Sonata has treated him just as well. The luxury extras are too numerous to list here but my favourites are the rain sensing wipers, adjustable pedals, and dual electric seats. I will get another Hyundai when this one dies, but I may be waiting a long time. It's been 17 years already!
Great on long trips/comfortable
Poor in snow
Good quality but poor in snow. Good gas mileage for a large engine. Mechanically sound no expensive garage bills
It has a great pick up, very roomy
It doesn't get great mileage .
This car has been so good to me. I change the oil and the general upkeep of a car. I have people stop me and ask me about it. I wish I can find another one of these.
Reliable
A few dings
Really like all the extras on this car; leather seats; power everything and good viewing screen. The only thing lacking is a rear view backup feature.
More features than my Wife’s Chevy Impala LTZ
Rides a little harsh
Got this car 7 years ago, have had no problems with it. We always drove Buick’s, but this is the only other car we owned that was of this quality. Would but another Hyundai in a heartbeat.
Great Hwy pick up and very very comfy.
18-22 mpg
Besides being comfortable, handles nicely, has rear AC and heat, the heated seats are a plus also the sliding sunroof, leather seats, dual electric seats, lots of power for interstate driving.
