It never broke down. Interior has some plastic parts, yet very comfortable and good on long road trips. The truck is over built for street use and a blast to drive. The H1 is unstoppable off road. Its not a regular truck. One day I will own one again....... I'LL Be Back.....

I have owned my Hummer for about 6 years and it does very well what it was intended for. I use it in Moab rockcrawling and hunting. Breaks all the time and is expensive to fix but if you want the ultimate off road vehicle this is it. Get looks everywhere and people commenting. If you want attention this is also your truck. If you want something economical this definately is not your truck.

not great on road, It is wide!!!
you will get noticed, terrible gas mileage,interior space a little tight,rides like a truck.find a good mechanic because most hummer (formerly) dealers are terrible.you can do many mechanical services yourself.

Have no fear of the weather conditions

A big learning curve on driving , operation and maintenance ,nevertheless, a welcomed process. You most be an extremist to appreciate its value. The value is going up , no other truck will get you more compliments and offers to buy it from you. At least once a week I have a stranger come up and questions if I might sell it. My answer will always be " sorry it's not for sale" . My advice is to spend more money on one that has been well maintained with a good maintenance record. Don't get one for cheap just to have it then wind up putting $ 30 000 in repairs into it. The miles on it don't mean anything a diesal engine will get you literally a million miles however you most keep up with its maintenance.
Tough, Fun, Value and Appreciation

Great fun family truck. Gets a lot of looks and all kinds of questions. Family loves riding around and versatile to do anything you want to do. This truck has done better than holding it's value, has actually appreciated over the past couple years. A lot of fun as a weekend car.

I own an H1 Hummer and it is by far one of the coolest trucks out there. Nothing says what you are trying to say more than H1. This has been my dream vehicle since I was a little kid, and it is a dream come true owning one. Words can not describe how awesome this truck is.
