Positive Review
I have own 3 Toyota Tacoma. I picked the Ridgeline over the Tacoma for the following reason. I do like the dual function tail gate and the lights in the truck bed. I also like have the truck in the truck bed. The cabin is quieter then my Tacoma and the ride is smoother. I do miss the height of the Tacoma. I also like having ac vent to the back of the truck. If you do not do much off roading I would recommend this truck.
Critical Review
I bought this vehicle in August of 2018. This is my 3rd honda ridgeline, and my 8th honda for my family in total. I drove this car off the lot and the problems have not stopped. I had less than 50 miles on the truck when the steering column and the steering wheel had to be replaced. The car has had several other problems included the current one, that sounds a popping noise when the wheel is turned to the right. I am currently over 3 weeks in the shop for a vehicle that has 5200 miles on it. Make no mistake, Honda doesn't care about you, and dealerships care even less about you.

Love my Ridgeline! Has great load capacity, good towing capability. Ride is quiet and smooth! Couldn’t ask for more from a mid-sized Pu
In my 74 years, I've owned many models of numerous brands (Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Volkswagen, Ford, Jeep, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, and Mercedes). And recently, I purchased my first Honda. A 2025 Ridgeline Black Edition. And after three months of daily driving, I have to say this Ridgeline is the most practical, high quality vehicle I've owned. It has just the right amount of "tech," the ride is quiet and smooth, the interior is comfortable and high quality, the truck bed meets my personal needs (and even has a decent sized trunk), and I fine it relaxing and fun to drive. So far...the only thing I don't like is the "auto start-stop" feature. Don't want it...don't need it...don't like it. BUT - it can be turned off, and I've trained myself to push the turn-off button as I'm clicking my seatbelt. So it's really just learning a new habit. Everyone's needs and wants are different...but for me, this Ridgeline has found my "sweet spot." I absolutely love the Ridgeline.
Unibody construction with independent rear suspension.
Truck not teal flashy in appearance.
Purchased recently. Will update after driving more.

Great ride. Former owner 2017 RTL. Pros- safety stuff is great, not intrusive. - Ride is phenomenal, as nice as any Cadillac. - Trunk and bed great. - New transmission is smooth, CONS- the truck rolls another half a foot when put into park - pushbuttons have taken me about 20k miles to get used to, after a lifetime of a stick or lever. - Cannot back up the truck with the door open, unable to see drivers side tire backing up for ramps/trailers. - FM radio is lousy
Performance, reliability and manufacturer
Little longer warrenty
No major problems I average 23 mpg. Just like all my Honda's it's never disappoints or leaves me stranded. This is my second Ridgeline. Very impressed.
The Ridgeline is a wonderful truck for daily driving and light-duty hauling. It's quiet, responsive, and roomy, but it just doesn't give the same ambiance as a full-size F150 or Silverado. I would buy again. Only knock on the 2020 model is the lack of a volume button for the radio; increasing and decreaslng volume is done by the touch screen. 2020 was the only year for that. Honda added a button in 2021.

Just picked up a 2024 Ridgeline Black Edition. Nicely updated solid truck. New features are outstanding, Ride is more truck like then my 2019.

I traded a 2010 Frontier LE and tested the same, Ranger, Tacoma and then the Ridgeline Black edition and was in love at first ride!! Comfortable, solid, attractive, more than enough power and great features for my taste… 20 mpg in town and 25 on highway. The in bed trunk is the best feature!!! Fold up back seats so the dogs are comfortable!! Perfect fit!!!
