We decided to buy the Honda Pilot EX-L AWD for its price and features. It drives really well on all sorts of roads in Southern California and performed well on our trips up to the local mountains, like Big Bear and Mt. Baldy. We really enjoy the clean design of the car, high seating position, and Apple CarPlay. For this trip, it would have been nice to have a small standard sunroof for the price, but not a dealbreaker. We wished the Trail Sport came with 8 seats, as we would have seriously considered that one. Our family likes adventure and goes hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter months, and we think it looks cool. Thinking, we may fit the EX-L with some of the Trail Sport accessories over time, like tires and skid plates for mild off-roading. Otherwise, we really enjoy the car and do feel it offers a lot of value for the money.

I recently got out of a 2018 Kia Sedona SXL and into a used 2024 Honda Pilot Elite with 7,600 miles on it. This car drives and handles like a dream! All the safety features, wireless Apple CarPlay, a ton of cameras and sensors make this a car I look forward to having for several years.

If you're looking for an SUV to do it all the Honda Pilot Trailsport is it. We live on a farm and need a vehicle that can do light off roading and towing without sacrificing drivabilty and safety on the pavement. We are really excited there's an option like this still available. The thought of a turbo 4 cylinder in a vehicle this large is scary. The vehicle is very quiet considering it's lifted, slightly with all terrain tires. The Pilot is much more solid versus the offerings from Toyota, Hyundai and Kia. Thank you Honda

I use this vehicle for my taxi business!! Very good No problems with engine or drivetrain Just minor issues... The passenger rear seat belt gets used a lot and the sensor must have went bad in there or something... Replaced it recently hasn't been an issue again, same with the driver side window it went up halfway and then stopped so they replaced the window regulator and the tracks, seems to be working fine now... The plastic trim in the back is flimsy and will break if you have a lot of traffic through there..Automatic high beams work when they want to... Any kind of crazy snowstorm and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree none of the safety features work when it's iced up... I wish you didn't have to rely on your smartphone for navigation through Android Auto It should have on board navigation just like the old pilots.. Other than that I'm in it more than 12 hours a day and it's very comfortable, My customers like the room you can fit six smaller (5 McDonald's Eating Americans) people in the back comfortably... There's a lot of room to stack suitcases... People are always amazed when I tell them that it's a Honda pilot because they think it's a Dodge Durango... But anyways it's okay on gas... lifetime mpg combined is 16.4. I got it last April 2023, I have 44,000 miles on it currently ... To tell you the truth I love how aggressive this looks compared to the old models that look like soccer mom minivans and I will be trading this one in soon for the 2024 I hope this review helps you in your decision in my opinion it's a very good buy but a few minor things will get you aggravated

We bought our 2023 Pilot Trailsport brand new in October of 2023. It currently has 4,300 miles. It has had a computer issue since day one. The dash randomly lights up like a Christmas tree with every warning light and error message. There are times when we use the remote start the doors will not open with the remote we have to use the key to unlock the doors manually. The automatic high beams work sometimes and sometimes they don’t. The tailgate is power and it wont open half of the time. If we shut the car off and start it again sometimes that will fix the issue and allow the tailgate to open. We had it in the local Honda dealership and they told us the issue was resolved but it was back to square one the following day. They now have parts ordered that our on back order and have been for over a month. We had a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee before this that had electrical issues that’s why we got rid of it. Now we are back to square one with this pilot. We bought a Honda for their dependability and this may be a lemon but I would not recommend the new body style Pilot.

I was sold on a Jeep Grand Cherokke L and test drove a lot of them. I got tired of the bad salesmen in the area and decided to give the new looking Pilot a try. I went in for a used 2023 model and ended up leaving there in a new 2024 Elite for less than they wanted for the used model. It has everything you would want. Are there flashier vehicles with bigger screens or Nappa leather? Sure. Do they have the reliability, ease of use, or 2 years free maintenance? Nope. I am more than thrilled with my purchase. The vehicle is sharp, has everything I need, and drives amazingly well. Heads up display, wireless Android auto and Apple car play. Heated front and second row seats. Ventilated front seats. Wireless charging. It's a great vehicle and comes with an outstanding reliability reputation. Just drive one and you'll love the seamless 10 speed transmission and great driving assist features.
