What Owners are Saying About the 1997 Honda Passport

"Amazing first SUV!"

"Owned this vehicle since we first bought it in the early 2000's. It has served well, and is one of our best vehicles we have owned. It's had very minor issues. Some of the issues are things we caused due to not being used to an suv, but is worth fixing. I love the rugged look, power, and decent reliability. A little low on the torque but not bad. Iv'e loved this vehicle so much I fix things myself when I can, they just don't make them like they used to. Note: Those seeking to buy one of these trucks should know about these things... Before winter always scrape, and spray surface the frames, salt tends to rust them out like the toyota tacoma trucks, check frames before buying this suv. Oxygen sensor cleaner and throttle body cleaner will need to be applied about once a year, These suvs tend to get build up easily as they age and won't idle properly. Overall very inexpensive easy fixes."

"Great first car!"

"This was my very first car! I learned to drive with this car. It was incredibly dependable (like a first car should be). I even had my first wreck in this car. I was rear-ended and this car couldn't of been more safe. I like to call it a tank. The car that hit me was totaled but my car was fine! It's small enough to park easily. However, it does have that safety feeling of an SUV. Great car!"

"Loved it!"

"I had this car for 9 years. Bought it when it was 3 years old. Never left me stranded. Always started. THe back seat has great leg room for a small SUV. Very reliable and I still like the way it looks. GETTING A MINI-VAn cuz I need more passenger room."
