Positive Review
The pick up on my car is great. The radio sounds really great. I love the push button gears. The only thing I dont like is that it is a little too wide. I wish the mirrors on the side had a push button to fold them flat so I could get in my garage easier. I have gotten 4 dings on it because of that. I am sick about that. I like the cup holders. There are so many new things to learn about it... I havent learned them all yet. I am 5ft. tall. Its a little hard for me to see everything around me. I had my 2000 Odyssey for 17 years and didnt want to even look at another car. I really like the idea of it telling you want it is doing straight in front of you where you see your mileage on the car. The gps is a little more involved. I know I just need to study it a little more but right now its trial and error for me. I feel very safe in my new 2018 Honda Odyssey Van. OH! I almost forgot...My Grandchildren love the movies I show in the car. It keeps them occupied. Oh! I wish the writing on the steering wheel was a little easier to read. You have to memorize it I guess. You sure dont want to look down at it and try to figure it out while you are driving.
Critical Review
The new Odyssey is complete garbage with tons of electrical issues, recalls, and reliability problems. Mine is 1year old with 12,000 miles. Is been in for repair 10times, towed twice, and on its THIRD battery. Honda won’t do anything to help or even extend the warranty. HUGR disappointment.

relieable, roomy, versatile
no awd
This Honda van is extremely practactical & versatile. Always relieable. Has enough room for 8 people. The interior is quite comfortable & roomy. It drives like a car. yet has tremendous seating arrangments & cargo space availble. Great for long road trips. The only setback is that it is not available in an all wheel drive version. Other than that I would not hesitate to buy or reccomend another honda odyssey.A great family friendly vechicle.
Almost 300 HP, legendary J35 engine, Vtec, tight cornering, comfy
no manual transmission option
No hybrid, no problem. That's not a con, it's a pro. The J35 is a legendary engine that gets better year over year. Maximum confort, street car like handling, sleak look, excellent visibility as a driver, dope entertainment system for kids that are not brain dead tablet fiends, and plenty of power. Very little not to like from the Odyssey.

Terrrible van
Our 2018 Odyssey EX-L transmission went out at 120k miles. Honda needs to recall all of these ZF-9. They also only offer 3 year warranty on a new one which costs $9000! Terrible model. Do not buy.
Reliable, functional, roomy, handles well
Would prefer NON-power seats, arm rests poorly designed and uncomfortable
Very roomy and reliable.
Comfortable and easy to clean, drive, and use.
Vacuum, Ventilated seats, and some other features are lackluster
We bought this van when we had just 2 kids and have added another since. They love the DVD player. We love the camera so we can see what they are doing without turning around, and the option to isolate the movie to the back speakers exclusively. Some features are gimmicky, the vacuum doesn't have enough power or a long enough hose to reach the whole van. The ventilated front seats don't cool to a significant degree. etc. Overall it's great, the safety features help noticeably and it's easy to drive long distances. I love the magic slide for the middle row.
Transmission not lasting
Bought this car in 2022. It has run pretty well except recently we have been having transmission problems. The vehicle has less than 75,000 miles on it. Tried to contact Honda customer support who will not help us because we bought the vehicle used. So basically plan on spending an extra $9,000 on top of your purchase price.
Your software does not reveal any price value for my car at all. Long wait times between screens. Futile effort. Waste of time.
Comfortable, tv, looks sporty, spacious
No hybrid option
I’ve driven this van over 23,000 miles in just over a year and it’s the perfect vehicle to travel in. We’re a family a four and the van has plenty of room for visiting family/friends.
