Positive Review
I love this car. It may not be gorgeous on the outside, but it's certainly distinctive and I like that. I am the only one in my household, but I do a lot of hauling. I love being out shopping and being able to buy anything on a whim, even big furniture, because I know it will fit. I am a volunteer for a rescue group and am always hauling around dogs--and it cleans up beautifully afterward. I can have the largest crate assesmbled in the back and it fits--even for dogs over 3 feet tall. I've had the car 1 1/2 years and have done nothing other than change the oil. I'm an English teacher, so I'm always hauling boxes of books, snacks and drinks loaded at Costco for fundraisers, and my files can go with me and are easy to retrieve. It holds so much! I still intend to get the tent for the tailgate for camping in the National Parks out west. And it's a wonderfully comfortable and roomy car for four big adults. My friends tell me the view from the rear seat is great, because they are elevated. I would buy another in a heart beat.
Critical Review
Fairly reliable but an absolute gas hog If you can afford to stroke a check to the stealer-ship for its many mechanical quirks then great. If you do the work yourself even better. A few silly things...the alternator is on the bottom front, so though it will go through a deep puddle, it may cost you 150 bucks. There's about 8 things that make the shift lock engage...dealership has no good way to fix this and will fail...2 zip ties fix the issue forever

It is called 4 wheel drive it is all wheel drive I don't have 2 shifters only 1 an nothing on the wheels to put it into 4 wheel drive. So why do I have to pay extra on insurance
Space, space, space!
No remote start, heated seat or mirror in the cold
I Love this vehicle and do not know how I will replace it when the time comes. It is great for everything; travel, my BIG dogs, gardening, home repair (my element had the space to transport a vanity when my pick-up could not) or it is the go to vehicle for a big trip to Costco. The seat configuration allows for people, pets or plants. I am routinely asked if I am in the market to sell mine… of course I say no.
Lots of interior room
Hard to get an infant seat in the back.
Love my Element...second one I’ve owned. It has so much room and a lot of pep. Didn’t think I’d like a boxy vehicle, but the inside will convince you. Too bad they don’t make them anymore:(
RELIABLE and roomy...

So versatile. So many ways to set the seats..It can NOT be beat for an in-Town- car..So basic and reliable--- (just what you want in a car)..Everything in the right place. There is no more reliable car on the market than a Honda.. I use to tow my first Element behind my motorhome with my MOTORCYCLE inside..I now have the dog friendly model with he fan (inside) in the rear for the dog! I may pass this on to my Grandson..He will be 16 in May 2022....
Ease of loading/unloading
Noisy & the seats are horribly uncomfortable
Great for the outdoorsy, mountain town type.. Amazing for unloading and unloading kids, car seats, bikes, and all other things. Meh interior look and feel.. Super uncomfortable seats and for sure the loudest car I have ever had (I have had Subarus 4runners & Isuzu’s). There must not be any insulation between the wheel & the car. The sound system makes up for it, but once you notice how noisy the car is, it is too hard to look past it even with the volume bumping.
Runs great. Comfortable. Reliable
Roomy, High demand
Lack of power
Its one of the most reliable and most economic car I have owned because its my first one. It does have a few issues like the V-Tech cylinoid going into limp mode when it rains. The driver seat has that normal crisping on the side. It has a bit of a transmission lag due to abuse and it has like no power. I wish it came with a V6. All around a fantastic car!
Spacious, gas mileage & comfort
Blind spot between front & back door
Sea mist green with minor dents… It is an SUV and very roomy.
