Positive Review
We bought a 2017 CRV touring about 2 weeks ago. Took a trip to Jacksonville Florida from Maryland last week. Round trip was about 1500 highway miles. Its winter so no AC was used. We have 2200 miles on it right now and we are getting 26.1 mpg and its going down. Its suppose to get 29 combined. 26 is not bad but when your expecting 29 its not good. We traded a 2016 CRV in and that was getting 24, it was suppose to get 27. We love everything else about it. The redesign inside and out is so much better than the 2016. It looks like a real SUV now. The leather seats are very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the backseat. There are a lot of nice safety features But if your looking for the 29mpg i dont think you will get it.
Critical Review
During the first 3000 miles I would have rated the CRV excellent in most categories. It is comfortable and roomy for both myself at over 6 feet tall, and my wife at 5 feet tall. The acceleration and gas mileage (25mpg around town) are both very good. I miss having a heated steering wheel and vented seats, which are not available on the CRV. However, at 3200 miles a serious engine problem showed up. At 70mph the car suddenly slowed, lost power, the check engine light came on, and multiple electrical systems reported malfunctions in the dash display. The car was towed to the Honda dealer and diagnosed with excess gas (approximately one quart) in the oil. The oil and filter was changed as a temporary solution, and a tech line case was opened with Honda. I was told at this time there is no permanent recall or fix. I was advised that this is a known problem in cold climates where the car is used for short drives and does not warm up completely. Since then I have learned that all CRVs with the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine have been recalled in China for the same problem. If you live in a cold climate I would not recommend this car at this time.

Nice looking, lots of room
Poor Reliability
Son purchased a 2017 CRV in 2020. Sensor issues abound and Honda has been less than responsive. Reddit has 70 pages of complaints about the issue, yet there is no recall. No fix and $2300 later car still has the issue. Honda Dealership didn't know what was wrong. Non-Honda mechanics recommend trading in. This is the 5th Honda in our family. Have to say how disappointed in Honda I am. My 2015 Accord will be replaced soon, Toyota may be the path I go down
Gas mileage, range of features, spacious backseat, easy car seat install
Mediocre sound system, seats are on the firm side
Got the Touring model which I definitely recommend. I am really happy with the simple infotainment set-up and reference on the screen in front of the steering wheel, honestly don't know what that is called. Car seat install is super easy. The shoulder belt in the middle backseat is great and love that you can retract it into a little storage thing in the back if you want. Slightly more road noise than others I test drove but not frustratingly so. The memory seats are AWESOME, especially being coded to the two different fobs - if you have two different height drivers in your house this is crucial (IYKYK). Only two downsides I've found: Speakers are very basic, if you are wanting an epic system this isn't the one for you. Have had cushier seats in my life but the amount you can adjust them helps.
Amazing car! No oil dilution brakes got to 56000 before needing new pads doesn’t even crank just immediately starts! Radio can be buggy but other than that amazing car
This is a mighty fine Honda. Rides Great, Drives Great, Looks Great. Set in the Garage when not in use. Has less than 35k of miles. Serviced on a regular schedule. Never smoked in ever. Driven by seniors.

Lower price would be nice but jeez, what do you expect for top-of-the line? I'm gettng my $$ worth!
Bought the top-of-the line 2019 Touring model, after giving my 2015 Touring to my DIL I wanted all the top-of-the-line safety and convenience features that I had enjoyed in the 2015 and this didn't disappoint. Easy to drive, solid and responsive on the road. Good in snow and rain. Plenty of responsive power on tap through the CVT. AWD goes through tires more quickly than expected, and after wearing out the OEM Falkens I replaced with Vredestein, which give quieter, better handling and less wear. The car is serviced regularly so seldom gets out of good alignment. Top-of-the line price is worth if for me.
Low miles great drive new tires awesome car can’t get a better vehicle then this interior is all leather power steering heating seats
Everything
If I could give it negative five stars I would!!!!! Do not, do not, do not buy this car or any cr-v 2017-2019. If you look out up some places have a class action lawsuit against this car bc its is nothing but a lemon!!!!!! Honestly I don’t know if it’d be worth taking free with all the issues they have!!!!!!
