Positive Review
We test drove a lot of vehicles (Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Audi, BMW, Acura…all compact SUV's) before we test drove the CRV (last vehicle driven), and I can tell you that for the money (excluding the luxury brands I drove…in that category, the Q5 was the best overall) it was the best overall vehicle! From quality to handling, none can beat it. The handling was surprisingly good. I come from driving German engineered coupes, and I had no idea what to expect when I drove the crossovers besides lack of soul. Some were mushy and free of any feedback like the Edge and MDX, some were too stiff for what the vehicle was manufactured for. The CRV did not have the best looking interior, but it did feel like a $30K interior unlike it's other competitors that were over $30K and didn't feel like it. The quality of the interior is very good (nice leather and plastic inside). The best thing about the interior is how roomy it is. For such a "small" vehicle, it was very roomy inside. I had two friends that are 6'2" in the back with my seat all the way back and they still had room to move their legs. I love the split seat fold downs with the one stop shop lever pull. The only gripe I have about the interior is the very outdated looking/feeling NAV. Do not like the NAV. drive/handling was excellent compared to it's competitors (definitely needs either a turbo or a V6 option. C'MON HONDA get on that boat already! Compared to it's other 4 cylinder competitors, it was the best. The ride was smooth, yet car like and lots of feedback from the road (a very good thing in which you actually enjoy driving the CRV). The engine is smooth as well. I know the exterior is a little "controversial"; however, I love it. It's got nice lines to the sheet metal and is not trying to overdo anything nor does it look overpowering to the eyes. I think it's conservative, yet modern. I think the hardcore CRV owners that are looking to upgrade to the 2012 model will be very happy, while people like me, new to the crossover market and looking to get a compact "SUV" under $30K, will be very happy with the CRV as well and will find it hard to get the same quality/handling/reliability under $30K from other vehicles.
Critical Review
The 2015 CRV looks great on paper. Solid resale, lots of current technology, great milage. HOWEVER, buyers need to be aware that they may or may not purchase a CRV with the Honda acknowledged "Vibration problem". Not everyone will be affected but if you are of the unlucky ones who is affected, you will regret your purchase immensely. My CRV began seriously vibrating and feeling like it will stall after about 500 miles of driving. When I am at a stop light, with car in gear and foot on the brake the engine will drop to 500rpm's and the car will begin to severely vibrate and feel like it will stall. A very disconcerting feeling when driving a brand new car. Honda claims that some vibration is normal and a "charateristic" of the CRV. I disagree. The same engine/CVT combination exists in the current Accord and none of the vibration issues affect the Accord. Honda has publicly identified 3 "types" or "modes" of vibration. My problem is defined as "Mode 1". As of September 2015 there is NO FIX available despite the fact this issue has been known since Fall 2014. Thankfully I have just one of the Mode issues. Some drivers have all 3 vibration mode problems. This SUV is well built and quite frankly a solid ride. However if I had to do it all over again I would have purchased a Nissan Rogue which is very similar in size, is better priced and gets great fuel economy as the CRV. Even though I did a fair amount of research reading most major auto publications reviews none of the reviews I read mentioned they had vibration issues so I bought. So buyer beware! You may get a CRV which runs fine in which case you will have an amazing little SUV HOWEVER there is a good chance that you may end up with a CRV with significant engine/CVT issues which makes driving the car extremely frustrating. If you MUST own a CRV I would suggest waiting until Honda announces a fix for all 3 Vibration mode issues.

Trading it up to the north side . Looking for a newer used suv low mileage. Probably a ford or honda suv.
I love Honda cars. The one problem I have is there is a flutter sound in engine area when you start it we can’t seem to get rid of even with repair by a master mechanic who is very trustworthy.
Comfortable, spacious
Garbage infotainment system
I loved this car, but my commute is only about 1 mile. Those frequent short trips didn't allow the engine to heat up enough to burn off the carbon deposits that build up in direct to injection engines like this one. As a result I started having emission and engine issues at 65,000 mi. I traded it in for RAV4 prime and couldn't be happier. I can make my short commute using all electric power and have the gas engine available for longer trips.
It still hums nicely. Springs Automotive Group did a great job making sure the car was ready. Dan Blevins is the man.
This vehicle has lots of road noise on highway. Somewhat Less when there is strong tailwind. Tire treads are about two thirds used.

I bought my 2016 Honda CRV two years ago and all I have had to do is get the bi-annual oil changes and a battery last week. I love this car and will stay with Honda going forward. There are only pros and no cons that I have noticed about this car. I love it! Highly recommend!!
Please make sure the Honda CR-V you are buying does not have the judders!! https://mccunewright.com/transmission-judder-in-honda-cr-v-vehicles/ https://www.crvownersclub.com/threads/judder-at-low-speeds.222287/ https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2017/MC-10108756-9999.pdf
CR-V are really good suv. ✅ the body VIN and the motor VIN my CR-V was taken from me… the cops don’t do there job in malvern AR. These people have taken the CR-V out of the country that it was reported in. No other country’s care they know if they get it out of the country they have it.. They are right because my CR-V hasn’t came back to me. I still see these ppl driving it…
