Positive Review
Fully loaded with every possible option. I have garaged it most of these years, hence the 38000 KM mileage. I am sad to hear my $27000 machine is worth only $5000 nowadays. I will never sell it. I'd rather give it to my kids because this baby looks and drives like it just came out of the showroom - inside and out. The leather smells just like the day i bought it! Not one single door dent as I always park the farthest and away from other vehicles. I hardly used the warranty on the car because it just timed out. I am sure it has lots of life left in it. An amazing car! Even Jesus's disciples drove one - it says right there that "they were all in one accord"!
Critical Review
Everything is great about my car except the transmission! That's the most important feature in a car! I had to have a new trans after only 58 thousand miles and it came with a 3 year warranty. Well, it's been 3 1/2 years and the trans is going again! The car has only 83 K miles on it! I'm supposed to buy ANOTHER transmission?! Really? I think I'm ready for an American car!

Low mileage considering 24 years old car. Used by Self(Owner) only. Car will be sold “As Is”.Please write to me if there are any other questions you may have. Thanks.
I bought the car in 2017 from a dealer who took it on trade from original owner. I had some issues with it right out of the lot. Car broke down and had it taken back to the lot. Dealer said it needed plugs and wires after telling me they do an incredible amount of checks on their used cars. They charged me $500 on top of the $5600 I had just paid for it which was above Kelly Blue Book. The car had the transmission built before the trade-in which was nice. Everything was still working on it electrically and mechanically with 216,500 miles. Paint looked good and the leather interior looked like new. The car had in issue for years where it wouldn't start on occasion. I had another car I could drive so it wasn't that big an issue except when it happened when I was getting off work about 10 miles away. Years later found it was just the fuel pump relay which was an easy, inexpensive fix. Discovered THAT was a common issue with this car. I replaced a broke driver side wheel axle, brakes, tires and headlight assemblies before selling the car to my daughter for $2000 today. The Kelly Blue Book has it between $2225 and $4574. It's running great today so I am happy for my daughter.
fuel mileage
everything excet the fuel mileage
honda is supposed to be reliable well, all but this era of honda stay away from V-6 engines with an automtic transmission tiny thing, even as asian cars are considered nothing is ergonomic, and anything beyond changing the oil is beyond fixable in a driveway 2 waterpump/timing assemblies, (over $1000 @) and constant bumping of head, shins, kneecaps, shoulders, and elbows over the course of years made driving an unenjoyable experience- let alone being pushed around by everything else on the road literally felt like i was driving a McDonald's happy meal toy the trans just died, and now i find out that some 50% of these never saw 75,000 miles My 1970 Oldsmobile went 193,000 miles, for reference.
fun car to drive easy to maintain
I'm had my 2002 Honda Accord for officially 2 years now Yes when I bought it I hated it but I had no choice but to buy it it was the only thing I could afford at the time after having it for as long as I had it now and fixing all of the issues that it had The car officially grew on me now. I love this car this is the fourth Honda that I've had but my first Honda Accord the only issue mine has right now is my interior My seats for passenger and driver and rear passenger have to be replaced due to rips and the material looking forward to redoing the interior in my car looking forward to getting coilovers aftermarket wheels and tires getting new headers for it a cold air intake so the motor can breathe better and aftermarket exhaust I seen these cars hooked up and they look pretty nice so I am a proud owner of mine and as of right now my miles are 200684. Yes I am proud of this car and what it has fun for me over the years I've had it I've gotten to a high speed chase with this car before it happened just recently and because of the VTech that it has it got me out of a jam so I will have to say this if you looking for a car that is priced pretty good and it's easy to work on I suggest you get the 2002 Honda Accord if you looking for a trim get the EX model you will not be disappointed if I'm looking for another Honda which it will be very soon I'm going to look for another accord in the same year 2002 I want the two door in white. or I want the 2010 Mitsubishi evolution 10 MR in white after I pay off this Accord which will be next month in June The final payment I can't wait.
Gas Milage and Longevity
Ball Joint, Gas tank Leak
Check the ball joints, have a tendency to fail. 1998-2001. Its a known weak point. I also have had Gas tank leaks when the milage gets up there.
decent tires , front windshield cracked, skylite leaks some, paint decent condition, seat good condition, a/c works, radio good
I bought my car in 1/03 from Honda Independence (Missouri) with 7,500 miles. Again, seventy-five hundred miles. It was a Honda corporate car from CA they said that sat in an airport. Twice a year, Honda dealerships buys cars at an auction and then sell these 4-5 year old cars with low miles. I now have 199,000 miles and it still runs -sunroof, windows, a/c still work. It has been repaired and taken off life support before. I love its speed, pep, dependability and no rust !!
Just put a new battery in and a new alternator Now it needs a new catalytic converter I am a senior citizen who can no longer afford the car. Tags and registration, regular maintenance, smog, triple AAA etc. I live on a fixed income and my rent just went up.
