Positive Review
The NEW, GM 2015 model Full-size SUVs indeed set new standards in this segment. I ordered out my Yukon Denali and took delivery in June 2014. It currently has about 8000 miles. I have had flawless performance and ZERO recalls or issues. The 6.2L/420HP V-8 is incredible. The fit and finish of this truck is amazing and the list of features is endless. The interior comfort and quietness at highway speed rivals any luxury sedan. In person, I compared the new GM's against the other domestic and import brands in this market. Without any doubts, the structural integrity, interior materials, options and engines were were far superior in the GM lineup. As many predict, I agree that GM will continue to dominate the full-size SUV market! I appreciate the massive 6.2L/420HP V-8 engine with active fuel management which allows me to obtain over 20mpg while cruising at highway speeds. Acceleration, braking and overall response is outstanding for a vehicle this size. I operate my truck in some brutal Wisconsin snow storms, the 4WD system could not be more sure-footed and reliable! Creature comforts like Large-screen Navigation, DVD Entertainment, multiple Media-links, Heated/Cooled leather seats and 12-speaker Bose sound compete head-to-head with the Import Brands, yet you will save $10-15K buying this more solid, domestic truck. Numerous collision avoidance systems and security features are standard, keeping the occupants & truck safe. The 3rd row seat does lack leg room for adults. However, if you routinely plan to carry more than 5 adults, the XL version of this truck certainly addresses this issue very well. I typically never use the 3rd row and suggest keeping those seats folded down to better utilize that space for storage and utility.
Critical Review
GMC Yukon less than one year old has severe vibrations at 60-70 mph. Other owners are reporting this as well for GM large SUVs. Check online documentation of the issue. GM has not been able to develop a full proof method to solve the issue. Very frustrating after paying a premium price for this vehicle.

Fast for a suv comfortable
junk dash materials, bad infotainment
Handles good, if you know how to use it you can embarrass modest sports cars. Strong 6.2 V8 Crummy dash materials, junk infotainment system. = Get a dodge durango hellcat.
I've read a number of the other reviews and disagree. Vibrations? none. Fixes? None other than standard. Excellent vehicle. Smooth ride. Lots of space. No mechanical issues. I hope to keep it for a long time.
Great safety features. Lots of room for cargo and passengers. Great vehicle for lots of different applications.
The ride is moderately stiff and there is some wind noise in the car. The mileage runs about 19 MPG on a trip.
I bought the Yukon new in 2019 and have owned it ever since. This is a great car for trips. There are great safety features and lots of cargo room. The ride is a little stiff with moderate wind noise in the cabin.
Great Bells and whistles, good power when it works
Extremely poor quality and reliability. Terrible ride.
Bought my 2016 Yukon Denali used in 2020 with about 87,000 miles on it. Love the features, bell and whistles. I also have a 2006 GMC Yukon XL which I love, and has over 300K miles. Still going strong with very few issues and is my go to vehicle. Love it for road trips. I loved the 2006 so much I wanted to upgrade to a newer year and didn't feel like we needed the XL, so we got the 2016 Yukon. The 2016 had problems from the start. Starter Motor failed at 89K. Left us stranded in the desert. The Ride is terrible compared to the 2006. Poor suspension system. Seems like we feel every pebble in the road. This issue is reported by many owners with no easy fix. Both Tail Lights failed before 95K. Check out the price on tail light replacements ($350 ish aftermarket, $700 plus OEM, each). A known issue with this model reported by many. I followed the you tube directions and operated on them both myself saving hundreds. Thank you You Tube. Engine Failure. Now at 97000 miles something in the engine caused a catastrophic failure. Metal shavings in the oil. Dealer recommends engine replacement to the tune of $15000 +. This is the 6.2 liter engine. The nice lady from the dealership says it is not uncommon. They have replaced many. After reading this if you decide to purchase a 2016 Yukon get the extended warranty.
Smooth ride in absolute luxury! Great power, amazingly comfortable for short and long trips. Lots of room, great heated and cooled seats. Best vehicle we've ever owned!
This is apparently a common issue with all I've read about this car. Vehicle has completely fallen apart starting at about 100,000 miles. First the starter, then the electronics modules, then the transmission, and now I have a cylinder misfire. This has all happened within the past 10,000 miles (currently at 111,500). I have good friend mechanics, but even at the good friend price, it's racked up a total of about $7,000 in repairs in that 10,000 mile span. Prior to that, had zero complaints. Guess you need to ditch it before you hit the magic number...
Looks good
Money pit
Looks nice that's about it... Transmission went out at 105,000 cost $7500, ac compressor went out right after $1500 then heated after that $1000 money pit!!
Hwy gas mileage is good, not so much in the city. We drive it from the Midwest to Florida every spring break and it does the job. Lots of room for the kids and can pull our boat. We've thrown a Bule on the top and I have a bike hitch for the front too. We've had some issues with losing refrigerant and it rides like a truck, not a small SUV. The space and luxury style compartment make for this to be a great rode trip vehicle.
