Positive Review
There is beginning to be less and less of these Suzuki trucks around and they are starting to go up in price, Where I live nice clean one's with no rust are going for five or six grand now. The more that go to the junk yard the higher the prices will get. If you can find a nice clean convertible 4x4 with a manual shift and no rust you should hang on to it for a few years. They will be worth ten grand most likely.

Reliable, cheap to maintain, and / or repair. Easy to work on, fun to drive, has stood the test of time and is fast approaching
it could use more horse power.
I have owned THREE of these gems and just love them. They have exceeded my expectation's in every category but finding a good one is becoming a rarity. The reason is the age of the model and number of Tracker fanatics that have set prices for them so high because the demand is still there for the 93-97 models. It is a better choice over the Suzuki Samurai as The 4x4 is quite capable as a mud romper or convert to a rock climber. I was lucky to find one in Pristine showroom shape with only 69,000 original miles and am just storing it to sell later. It is the most fun vehicle I have ever owned.
Off roaming fun
Noisy and drafty convertible top
Economical, fun and reliable this is great off road and it’s noble Mcpherson struts really handle most conditions.
It's 4 wheel drive an great on fuel
The exhaust can a little annoying
I got this car at a very dam near free price. I've had it for about a year now. The only time it has failed me was on louisiana bad highway roads that cause me to catch a flat. And the tires can be hard to come by when needed right away. Other than change out the clutch plate when I first got it' I have never had to do any major work to it. The outside cosmetically has a few scratches and failed paint job. The inside has been redone by pulling the carpet completely out and rhino lineing the entire inside except for the dash. Over all I love the little car.
fun to drive
hand crank windows
small, easy to drive, gets around easily. Is stored inside and not driven in the Indiana winters. easy to handle
Fun to drive, very cheap, little maintenance
Extremely slow, can be scary at times, top heavy
I love my '93 Geo! I've had it for around 6 years now and have had very little issues with it besides having to replace multiple parts and gaskets due to old age and high mileage. But what do you expect out of a 30 year old Geo with over a quarter million miles on the clock! Runs greats, doesn't knock or tick, very very quiet car, no major mechanical issues and excellent gas mileage due to the 5-speed manual! Performance is a bit sloppy compared to most modern day cars, so staying off the highway is usually a good idea, but back roads at 55 is no issue for the little Geo. I get around 15-18 mpg city and 24-30 mpg highway (at 55). Friends love it to go cruising with the top down on a sunny day without breaking the bank!
Simple mechanics. Very maneuverable. Long lasting.
I bought this car when it was 2 years old, and going on about 25 years now. Here in HI, it's a perfect car to get around because it's so crowded in some places, and this Geo is small, can fit in tight spots, make sharp turns, and easy to maneuver. At this age, I do have occasional parts that need to get replaced, but so far, there's nothing I haven't been able to find even though some parts have been discontinued. The Suzuki is an identical car and the parts are interchangeable. I've scored some good deals on eBay too. I don't know much about mechanics, but some things I've been able to do on this little car on my own because it's so simple. Having added racks to my Geo also makes it so practical. When my family visited, whatever luggage I couldn't fit in the back, I secured it on top! I've loaded it with kayaks, surfboards, and SUP's also. The only difficult part are heavy items because the Geo is tall for me, especially with the racks. I love this car so much and don't ever want to replace it, but living in HI, I know that one day I will have too because of the salty air. I've already gotten some bad rust on it.
Cheap maintenance/parts, great MPG (30MPG highway)

I purchased my 1995 1.6L SOHC 2WD Tracker in 2015 with about 200,000 miles on it from an older couple that bought it brand new. The only mechanical issue that needed attention was that the clutch needed to be replaced which only totaled to 331 with labor included. I have put about 58,000 miles on it and it has been nothing but a joy doing so. I have taken this little truck off road, driven it around during the winter time, and on a couple different road trips out of state and not once has it left me stranded. The couple that I bought it from kept it in immaculate condition. They never missed any scheduled maintenance and changed the oil every 3,000 miles and it shows. I am shooting for this truck to go well past 300,000 miles with consistent TLC
Great GPM, Dependable,Handles great
Had this GEO for 5 plus year, got it for my son in college so he used it and now I have it. The Geo is a blast to drive handles very nice and easy on the gas mpg. In the winter is seams very light but with the 4x4 you can go almost anyplace, not like the big trucks. This one has over 280000 miles now and every thing still seam to work great (knock on wood) Yes it is starting to rust (Wisconsin salt) bad but it still runs like a watch. I do think the timing belt was changed before I got it (paper work in glove box) but I have not had to do a thing to it but a muffler
