Positive Review
After three weeks, I have been nothing but impressed with the GV80 3.5t Prestige. Style, comfort, and power are top-notch. The quality of the interior is unbelievable. The adaptive cruise control is excellent. I thought it would overreach to cars merging into my lane but it is smooth to adjust to the speed of the merging car. If the car is moving even a little faster, the system doesn't adjust my speed. Acceleration and power are perfect for me. A bit less than the middle engines of the German models but everything I want at a great price. If you want more, I recommend a sports car, not a SUV. Great space in front and back seats. The infotainment system took a week or so to fully understand. Now that everything is set for my profile, I rarely touch it. The active noise cancelling and 21 Lexicon audio system is amazing. Its like you are at the concert with no crowd (road) noise. The one small negative is the driver assist system being slow to turn into a curve. I tended to start the turn entering the curve, the system waits until the car has fully entered the curve before it responds. I am eager to see if the AI system learns from my driving behavior and adjusts. The system works great when the freeway is reasonably straight. It will let me ride for up to 10 minutes without indicating I need to put my hands on the wheel. If you are looking to buy a great luxury SUV for yourself and not impress others with the badge, this is the one.
Critical Review
The quality of the car include the performance, quality, service. Service play very important role of the overall car reputation. Genesis car has 5 stars quality, but because of the under 1 star service, I have to give them low rate and will not recommend to anyone. With the money paid for the luxury car, not worth to get all the headache due to the poor service.

Stylist car
Maintenance required not showing until not pay money
I have genesis GV 80 3.5 AWD. I bought it for $87K. They gave 3 year connected service feature then after we have to pay every year. I not took this service, I realize it not showing any maintenance or oil change notification. When I contacted genesis then they even dont pull when last oil change done. They said you must pay for connected service then maintenance service will show. This is basic feature it must show without additional charge. Everybody should know about this & don't buy this car. Last time it not shows oil change required or maintenance required, they told me on phone calculate by your shelf every 7500 miles need to change oil. It's written in manual. Who going to check manual? I ask that lady name but she argue again & again & not tell last name.
Luxury, Comfort,
Fuel mileage
I purchased this vehicle used, and I'm very impressed. Now it's time for daily use, & a review will be done after a year of use.
Really good!...You wont regret when you get this car....I bought this car since 2021 and is still as strong and beautiful as first day....
Head turner and great looking car.
Electrics are a nightmare. Dealer service dis
Last year I purchased not one....but two GV80's. They were both low mileage used cars. The first one started having electrical issues within 2 months. The dealer received another and offered a trade which I took. Within a month I found out I couldn't get the oil changed anywhere except two places completely 300 miles either way. Then the back window blew out. No...it wasn't vandals. It blew out onto the driveway. The Navigation system needed to be rebooted every trip we took. The sunroof quit working as did the interior overhead lights. Service has got to be the biggest joke that I have ever encountered. Honestly....a YUGO would probably been as good as the Genesis. Maybe because they were used, maybe because the dealer didn't tell me truth about the history of the car. Lousy gas mileage and constantly having to update the navigation system was enough to make me scream. You get to get Genesis to give you a memory stick and then you get to spend two days trying to figure our how to update the system. These cars were nightmares. I'm so very happy that the major car reviewers love them so much. They should buy one themselves along with some strong meds to ease the stress.
I traded my 2017 Genesis G90 3.3turbo for my 2023 GV80 Prestige in April of 2023. I had 66000 miles on the G90, and it was STILL perfect. I went to the SUV (Prestige trim level) as I have a bad back, and the sUV is FAR easier to enter. I have 7200 miles on my GV80, and love it too. There is not anything I don’t like about my GV80 except the frustrations I’ve had with the Genesis dealer, which fortunately changed ownership in the past two months. I experienced frustration within an hour of trading my 2027 G90, when, while I was still at the dealership, I told the finance manager I had left my Oakley sunglasses in the roof sunglasses compartment. I was told 5 minutes later that he’d checked, and they weren’t there. I had a HUGE issue with the dealer I won’t go in to here, but I’m delighted that new ownership has taken over-otherwise I’d even chosen to use another Genesis dealer 15 miles farther from my home for service. I’ll close this review by sharing that I’ve now had two premium Genesis cars, and I’ve loved them both.
Good gas mileage, great pickup for a turbo
No cons as of yet
I owned a 2021 Adriatic Blue with the Dune interior, I love this car haven't had any problems and hope not to have any. I've owned it for over a year and on a weekly bases I have someone stop me or come to me asking me about the car. I have all the features and I use most of them. You could not go wrong with this veh.
It's a bang for the buck!
No memory key.
Great SUV! 3.5T AWD Advaced Plus. It still remains fairly unique on the road, not too many out there. We have the blue exterior with the tan interior, we get thumbs up or compliments all the time.
Looks good
Like the old saying goes don't judge book by its c
Rear differential issues along with rear-end needed alignment, tires were cupped, transmission in sport mode was rough not shifting properly. Front left headlight had dead spot in it They replaced rear differential and gave it an alignment but refused to change out cupped tires caused by rear differential and alignment, they supposedly replaced head light but it still has dead spot. West palm dealership and Genesis very difficult to get an appointment as well as getting service done. They would not replace tires that were cupped.
