Positive Review
Previous owner of Lexus LS, Mercedes S; Audi 8L. For 30k plus savings, it was worth a shot to see if the G90 stood up to competition. Without out a doubt, a great car for the money! Comfortable, decent gas mileage, options galore! No issues. The only negative is the buying experience. Youre sitting next to someone buying a 15k Huyndai at dealership. Dealer really didnt know all the cars features and I spent a few days pulling protective plastic they missed. 3t is best buy..great power on reg gas!
Critical Review
I will not focus on a dealership nor any salesperson but I will focus on Genesis USA. I own a 2013 Equus, the predecessor to Genesis - both made by Hyundai. I also own a 2017 G 90 and most recently a 2019 G90. I purchased the first two from Hyundai dealers and all went well. They provide concierge service which I rarely use, but it indicates they want to be helpful. When you buy the car used (the 2019 had just over 7,000 miles on it) .you do not get all the usual warranties. For example, the famous 100,000 mile, ten year warranty, the drive train is limited to 60,000 and only five years. What I really complain about and their web site literature does not adequately explain this, is the three year service provided (oil change, etc.) is not available to the used car purchaser - so they tell me. This is WRONG as Genesis has gotten paid for this, it is clearly built in to the original purchase price. That is the real and possibly only problem with this car - the company does not care about the resale value of their vehicles. Note the extreme opposite position with Lexus (which I also owned) where the high resale value is yet another reason to purchase the care initially. If you look at the resale prices of this car you will see that it depreciates more, at a greater percentage, than any other comparable luxury vehicle. That is a good reason not ot buy the car unless you want to keep it till it is worth nothing. That is why my son has the 2013 Equus - it was worth very little on the used car market - likewise comparatively the 2017 and 2019. Lexus supports their resale values - Genesis will never be there. Check resale values on a used G 90 before you buy a new one and unless you want to keep it for ten years (something luxury car buyers rarely do) the value you got in the original purchase is lost on its resale. I will pursue my remedy legally as the published information is at best misleading and at worst, downright wrong. I expect more from a car company that wants to be regarded as a "luxury" car name plate.

Price, stylish, maintenance cost
Lack of Genesis dealerships and maintenance techs in smaller cities.
I've owned a 2014 Equus Signature. A 2015 Equus Ultimate, and I when I started studying the 2020 Genesis G90 Ultimate AWD, I knew I had to have it. I waited until 2023 to buy a 2020 and saved $30,000 off the sticker price. This car drives and handles well. The V8 engine is powerful and it accelerates quickly and smoothly. The interior is all leather, alcantara and real wood. I have not had any mechanical issues at all. It has every bell and whistle imaginable. You definitely get more bang for your buck. I highly recommend the Genesis G90 Ultimate.

This car can rival BMW any day without the costs of maintaining. Everything about this car screams luxury and quality. The ride is phenomenal and I always get compliments on how it looks new even though it is a 2017 model. Warranty and service is outstanding and I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Excellent showroom condition. Right fender has "rub-out" scratches from backing out of the garage. Like-new tires.
I have owned a car garage for the past 18 years. My first Genesis was a 2010..4.6. Just bought a 5.0 Ultimate.. 420 Hp. Picked it up at Naples Fl. Drove to Tallahassee. Torrential rain, dark roads.. My friend owns. 550 Benz. This car worth 34k on it ? A steal.. Uber quiet and incredibly comfortable. Still has a warranty and purchased an extended warranty making it good through 2029. Looked at Benz, BMW etc. For the money? Cannot be beat..
An executive level sedan, with unobtrusive, tasteful good looks. A solid, pliant ride with good road feel, variable ratio steering, and good brakes that keeps the vehicle nimble and quick despite its size and weight. Comfortable leather seats, lots of legroom, extraordinarily quiet cabin with a silky smooth V8 engine that whispers. Lots of bells and whistles for the money, and the car has been reliable.
Great car, has all the accessories one could want.

We have had the pleasure of owning, driving and enjoying this great vehicle for over 6 years. It is as much of a pleasure to drive it today as it was when we received it. In fact, we are in the process of trying to purchase a new G90 with the turbo, power closing doors, massaging rear seats and premium stereo. Can't wait.

I did allot research focusing on maintenance, dependability, and overall cost to own. I found that though the big three (Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW) live up their their name, the Genesis G90 is making one for itself. I did buy it used. Thought there is not an extensive history to rely on compared to the big three, I found that owners are happy with their purchase. This seems to have made the trade in value of the G90 pretty good. While I do understand that many cars a benefiting from the increase in used car equity, the G90 is certainly comparable to other luxury brands. It is too early to say anything about repairs. However, I have not seen many bad reviews. They have mostly been bad mechanics. So, I definitely believe a trip to the dealership is a bargain considering some of the reviews with main line repair shops. The ride is excellent. I can say no more. It is has all the bells and whistles. With that being said. Get a maintenance plan to cover future cost.

Looks, styling, rarity are all awesome. Beautiful leather throughout including the dashboard, rocking sound system, and plenty of room for the whole crew!
