Positive Review
I am a 63 year old male and bought a 2003 used. This is the most "Fun" car I have ever owned. It's not a sports car or a drag racer. The 280HP is great. It accelerates fast and handles great. Comfort is also great. I have actually thought about buying another one so the wife and I don't have to share as much. The fit is snug and I'm a big man 6' and 270lbs. Once I get in and readjust the mirrors it feels like a glove. The controls are easy to get at and read. The hardtop is nice in the winter and goes on and off easy. I have a rig in the ceiling of the garage to take it off with. It takes about 30 minutes. I have had zero problems with it and would not think twice about getting another one. The wife likes it like I do. I have never driven a car that is this much fun. I know a guy in the next town over that has 5 of them for personal use including the 007 edition.
Critical Review
I have the limited edition Pacific Coast Roadster, and it is such a great looking car. While I love the looks, the performance has been questionable at best. The pick-up is not truly of the sports car variety, as it is a bit sluggish. The larger problem though is that I am not able to spend several days without a car and having its maintenance as a part time job. This car continually has some minor problem. The latest is that the check engine light comes on. I take it in to be reset, and then get to go back to the Ford house a few days later to start the process over again....

It's a good car and in good condition. The disc player doesn't work. It's a fun to drive. It don't smoke.
A real head turner
I’ve been searching for the right one these cars and a guy said he knew where one was and had only 6800 miles on it and was owned by Dale Jarrett NASCAR Driver. It was a Beautiful automobile sitting there with Dale Jarrett’s signature on the dash above the glove box and his NASCAR driving jacket signed. I didn’t want to seem excited so I told him I’d think about it but my wife had other plans and I woke the next morning and sitting in my driveway was that white tbird with 2 tone red/black interior. I’ve got 11,000 miles on it now stored in the garage till spring time can’t wait. It drives and handles like a dream. Most comfortable of any 2 seater I’ve owned. It’s a real head turner and a crowd pleaser at car shows in which it’s taken 2 first places and second place. U owe to yourself to drive one and take it home.
acceleration when it is due!
That I don't have TWO!
I bought this New and never sold it because it looked like something I should not do! It rides so smooth, it is the car you may want to choose! So I'll take a ride with my beautiful wife by my side :) Jesus keep me safe and we will praise your name forever and ever! Dave :)
I recently purchased a 2002 'Premium' Torch Red T-bird that I paid @ $1000 over average for because of the provenance and care it received and according to the formula below for value. I've owned several 2 seaters, but this car is a whole new groove toward luxury cruising over zoom-zoom. The 2002's have a Jaguar aj-26 3.9L V8 engine that I prefer over others. Garage kept & got the hardtop, cart, clean tonneau cover and original adjustment tool? add $1000 Got a well cared for soft-top (no mold or white streaks) and the two-tone leather interior premium package? add another $1000 Paid what I considered a fair price for this babied classic from an individual, but those owners are getting fewer and fewer so act now. Dealers are charging closer to $20K if they beat you to a Retro T-bird (2002-2005). That being said the A/C was inoperable, the "leak" turned out to need a new compressor (my mechanic doesn't believe in remanufactured) so I feel I'm getting out cheap spending another $600, but the new part was same day available. Look in the trunk at the 'skinny' spare. They put a rather robust battery (be very careful with what battery you order, needs to be sealed or vented) right next to it and if that 60lb pressure tire blows could take the battery out. Minor stuff, but I hear they're typical issues.
Drive on Sunday afternoons, so fun.
A/C needs some maintenance. I leave hard top off
Car makes people take a second look it is so unique as a 007 limited #50/700 made. Hale Berry drove one in Did Another Day. White interior / Coral exterior / White porthole hard top
