Bought my 2002 4x4 with 18,000 miles on it. Planned to drive it 40,000 miles and trade it in for another one with 10-20k miles from the wholesaler as I always do. This little pickup performed so well I just didn't think I could find anything better for the money.... so 110,000 miles later I'm still driving it..... and liking it.

Truck runs strong, pull cables on back doors need to be replaced, it’s the ford edge. Interior good shape

It will last a long time, the gas mileage is great
No extra cab space, can’t tow anything, no power windows or seats, 4 cylinder, 2 rwd, acceleration is like a diese, low value
I wish I never got this baby truck, with a 2.3L and a V4 there is no power at all, the truck itself is in great mechanical condition and the rust is minimal on the bed and cab.
Rust started under 20 thousand kms. Transmission is sloppy. Doors locked while running with my dog in the car. No warranty! They refused warranty for all these issues. Truck is new with less than 80 tjousand kms. Customer service is absolutely non existent. Stay away!!!!!!

Front chrome bumpers tend to rust under the chrom
I have a 2003 Ranger 4x4 level 2 Easy to work on ,Reliable,solid Body ,no rust,been offered 10- 12,000 $ many times ,because of the condition ,which is exc .but would never sell it. This truck is known to go 450,000 km or more .I've got 320 ,000 km and still runs tight,no oil leaks.

Some battery issues on mine but that’s a me issue. Good little truck can fit 3 in the front although it is a tight fit, can carry lots of stuff and engine is good enough. Last forever with normal maintenance so just make sure you take care of it. Simplistic too
Always starts up good power fun to off road rides a little ruff as long as you do oil changes and keep up with other maitnence it wont die

Can't find parts
It is so hard to find parts for this thing. I'm trying to find a module??? or something? and no one has it. I've been trying to fix this thing for months. She drives beautifully, I just don't enjoy the check engine light.
