Positive Review
I love my van! I wish Ford still made these because I have more than gotten my moneys worth! Everything still works great other than the back-up sensors, but I'm very satisfied with the performance of this vehicle. Wish I could get another 300,000 miles out of it :)
Critical Review
This van has been a lemon since I have gotten it. The front wheel hub/bearings started squealing and had to get them replaced $750. Some of the vans had a recall for them, but not mine. I have also had major problems with the Rear AC blowing hot air. I had it in 3 times while under warranty and they never fixed the problem. Since then I have found out from another dealer that the front AC controls need replaced $400. I had some other AC problems while under warranty, but they were fixed. Road noise is pretty bad. I even bought the good tires that are suppose to help with road noise and they didn't help. It is hard to carry on a conversation from the front to the third row because of noise. It has served us well and is still working though. This was the first brand new vechicle we owned. It will be the last vehicle I buy from Ford. I always bought GM vehicles before and had great luck with them. If you can get a carfax report I would before buying one of these.

Reliable, low maintenance cost
Engine runs like truck, torque convertor issues
Bought with 66,000 miles. Sold with 196,000 due to rust (ny state) had some coil issues, replaced and replacement went bad, replacement had warranty, replacement plug wires had issues going bad, flex exhaust pipe replaced twice, torque convertor went out (covered under recall, Ford even provided a rental) alignment issue due to suspension wear. Overall I owned this car till almost 200,000 miles and did very few repairs overall, and all were inexpensive. I did not buy 1,000 In parts in 130,000 miles of driving. 4.2 v6 runs like a truck, poor mileage, but very reliable. Engine in good shape at 196,000. Tranny OK. Torque convertor recall covered 05 but not some others that also had the same issue. Good family vehicle. Wish Ford still made them!

Bought this van second hand, the gentleman that I bought it off of took very good care of it, It has been reliable with basic maintenance
I actually have no cons .
This van was given to me, by my brother. It's very dependable, pretty good on gas , comfortable, and is used as a truck at times. I have a lot of milage, but, I'm sure, I'll get more.

It has been a very dependable car for many years. The brakes were always average, a lot of pedal to stop quickly. Great mileage, handling and space.

This minivan has low miles and is in great condition.
Comfortable good on gas
Rust
I can take this van anywhere drove straight to Atlanta from Cincinnati on a tank and a half of gas so yes it gets good gas mileage. Love driving it for its comfort only had to replace the bushings in the front control arms.. Solid engine and transmission.
Great mileage and fun to drive
Front wheel drive so shes not good in the snow
My Ford Frestar has been incredibly reliable, gets great gas mileage as a daily driver, and has space for road trips and passengers. She May not look like much but she runs like a beast.
