"I have a Yellow 1991 Festiva L that I bought 13 years ago in Colorado. It had 24,000 miles on it when I became the 2nd owner and now it has 230,000 miles and still giving every day. It is a 5 speed manual and I drive it responsabily. The 1991 Consumer Guide said that it gets 38mpg/city and 42mpg/hwy. I have been keeping imaculate documentation and I have been getting a hwy/city overall average of 45 mpg!!!!!!! Most hybrids today can't get that! I love it. It's great for a daily work commuter and local weekend driving but I don't take it on realy long trips (200+ miles) as it was not designed and built with that in mind. I'll be keeping mine forever!!!"
