Positive Review
This truck pulls my 41 Ft RV. It's amazing how well it does its job day after day. Noise level similar to a car, engine very quiet. Best feature, F450 has extremely tight turning radius, better than F350 or GM or Ram HD trucks. No dealer return for any reason, except oil and lube. The power of the 6.7 is more than enough to do its job. Very happy with my purchase!

Small 38 gal fuel tank
I purchased my Ford F450 new in 2013 to pull my very heavy 5th wheel. I was looking at stopping power more than JUST pulling power. With my 5th wheel pushing 21K pounds I wanted something that would do both while pulling my RV across country and I wanted to do it in comfort. I got exactly what I wished for in this incredible Truck that I have now owned for 10 years now. I only have just over 100K miles on this beautiful truck but have had mostly care free maintenance out of this vehicle. The only major repairs I had to do was to the fuel rail when I got water in my fuel because I didn't KNOW there was a fuel drain cock on the fuel tank. So if you let your truck set INSIDE like I do with mine for over a month then just check the fuel for water. Takes about 1 minute. This truck drives and handles like a champ. It is smooth riding with or without a load for such a super duty truck and the turn radius on this truck is just incredible. There is power to spare and the tow package on this truck is just the bomb. The only thing ford did wrong on this truck is that pitiful 38 gallon fuel tank. COME ONE FORD what was you thinking? Hope this review helps with future ford super duty owners.
Tons of power and great to drive!
Repairs / maintenance cost more on a big truck
This is a great truck serviced as recommended from the start. I purchased it new from Spradley Barr Ford in Ft Collins, Colorado
Comfortable diesel powered work horse.
EPA emissions required DEF.
Very comfortable long haul work horse. Excellent OEM engine breaking capability for those steep downhill grades. Plenty of legroom, front and rear seats, for those 6'+ people!
Good ride, stable tow vehicle, does its job
Fuel mileage is not great, 14.0 or so in town
My F 450 does a great job towing my 12000 lb boat and is a very comfortable ride. It has power to spare and is really an enjoyable truck.

*Traded a 2006 F350 6.0 with 110,000 miles and 11 years on this excellent truck. *Not one problem from day one on this 2016 F450 Platinum. The truck is so amazing. *It is exciting to own and drive. *The F450 feels like a locomotive to a Ford Ranger as compared to a 2016 F450 and a 2006 F350. *You can really tell, see and feel you're in a much heavy duty unit. *This truck is built tough. *It has 10 lug axles that can pull a house. 225/70/19.5 14 ply tires *I'm getting about 18 mpg unloaded at about 55-60 mph highway. 14-15 mpg highway at 75 mph. *It rides very nice at 80 mph on I-80. *I put 1,200 lbs in the back and barely noticed. *I really like the heated steering wheel when it is only 10 degrees, and this unit has quick cabin heating. *I've never heard of a vehicle putting out warm air when the engine is cold. *The fronts seats are air conditioned for summer and the rear seats are heated for Winter. *Oh, and I have to tell you, this truck has unmatched audio sound quality. I could keep going on and on about this truck. My wife calls this new truck Hercules Pros: Everything Cons: None
A truck to fill the need of pulling heavy stuff!
Not one thing has gone wrong since purchase. Diesel engine is a work horse...and very quite. Accelerates up the Grapevine pulling an 18,000 pound 5th Wheel like nothing. Also, the "jake" brake system works like a charm. Have so many people just walking up to me saying "great looking truck" it's almost embarrassing. The only complaint is that it is not a real comfortable truck to drive around town and into parking lots. But after all, it is a dually.
power
higher gears
nothing beats the black house
Pulls a 40 Goose Neck loaded with hay Great
No the trucks fault, Diesel fuel higher than gas
Love this truck, it is awesome !!
