Ford knows there is a problem with the 6.0 diesel engine. Ford rep told me all the problems/repairs that I have had with this truck. Suggested I put it up for sale on internet because none of the dealers will give you anything for it on trade-in! Why can't I get Ford to recall or fix the truck at their cost. Have put $27,500.00 into the repairs since Sept. 2011. Still not running right. Finally going to get rid of truck!

New tires, very clean , has small dent left rear back panel . Runs very good. Starts up very easy and don’t smoke at all
Older technology not many sensors no diesel additives needed like newer trucks
Old technology must warm glow plugs no ambient air temp gauges must warm motor up a couple minutes in morning in only mild cool weather not that quick accelerating
Bought this truck 2 years ago for masonry contracting 7.3 diesel has enough power hauling heavy loads I use 4 wheel drive when backing up with trailer in dirt or grass fields on job site Had 170ooo miles in two years one rear electric door lock was replaced by self
Tough, pulls well
Gas hog
Bought this friend that took great care of it. No issues just normal maintenance.
Won't find VIN or even email my results. What happened because it used to work? They fell apart. Not the same. Just want to charge you to put online.
Trying to see the value of it and they want to go do you want cash offers and then they want you to go through all that to ask people when you're just trying to find the value of your vehicle then it shows it for a trade in instead of giving you what you are googling it for it says get the blue book price well they don't give the Blue book price
I absolutely loved this truck! I got so lucky with this truck as it was originally a work truck from my dad prior to buying. Most people wouldn't advise giving a 16 yo a V10 but it taught me control, how to drive cautiously, and management of money (gas was never cheap). I had an accident in high school which I believe with any other vehicle it would've ended poorly, but with this truck I was completely unharmed (was able to replace parts from ones found at the junkyard). Always changed the oil myself which was incredibly easy to do and had to replace a few engine parts throughout the years but most work we were able to do ourselves as parts were easy to come bye. Sold it after it hit 300k miles (about 20 yo).
I got an offer for 42k. I won't sell it for 142k. It was taken care of by Michigan State University. It has a 9 speed manual transmission and over the road internation diesel engine. 64 gallon fuel tank and one of the 1st Banks Systems. MSU gave it nearly 700 pounds of torck. Love the truck. Also has propane injection.
Value on this site is insanely under priced. Same vehicle close mileage are selling 3 x what value says
