What Owners are Saying About the 2022 Ford F150 Regular Cab

"Be aware"

"It’s an amazing truck, but we big issues .We had the truck for about 6 months and the truck battery isn’t good anymore. After an update the truck stopped charging & it doesn’t have power to run .We took it to the dealership and it’s already 1 month and they keep saying that they can’t track the parts to replace the battery., but we still paying a lot of money for the loan. Ridiculous."

"Great bones"

"The infotainment screen quit the day i bought it. then a few months later the audio volume display shows 0 and the load scale doesn't work. The second time at Ford over 40 days and still can't fix."

"One of the best vehicles I've ever owned"

"I’ve been driving the Ford F-150 Powerboost Hybrid for a bit now, and here’s my two cents. What I Love: MPG: The fuel efficiency is impressive for a truck. I’m getting great mileage whether I’m local or on a highway road trip. It’s nice not having to stop for gas so often. Smooth and Quiet Ride: This truck rides like a dream. It’s super smooth and quiet. ProPower Onboard: The ProPower system is a lifesaver. I've used it for power tools for projects around the house such as cutting boards on the driveway. It also eliminated the noisy generator for tailgating in the fall at football games. Hands Free Driving: Ford BlueCruise feature is a game-changer for long highway trips. It’s hands-free driving at its best, making those road trips much less tiring. What Could Be Better: Cost of BlueCruise Subscription: The subscription price tag is pretty hefty. If I didn't get a deal being the first model year with BlueCruise to renew at a much discounted rate I wouldn't be paying for it. Over-the-Air Software Updates: The software updates have been a bit of a headache. They’ve been glitchy, and I’ve had to rely on online forums to sort things out. Not ideal. All in all, the F-150 Powerboost Hybrid is a beast of a truck with some awesome features."

2022 Ford F150 Safety

2022 Ford F150 Safety Technology

2021 features shown. 2022 may differ.

Co-Pilot360

Ford’s inclusive suite of advanced driver assists includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, active park assist, automatic high beams, evasive steering assist, BLIS (blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert) and Lane Keeping. Some of this technology comes standard, and other features are available with higher trim levels.

360-Degree camera

This optional feature allows a complete 360-degree view around the vehicle, particularly helpful given the F-150’s elevated height and numerous low-level blind spots. This camera is also useful when backing up the F-150 while towing a trailer.

Active Drive Assist

This optional feature will have a camera that faces the driver to track the driver’s head and eye position to sense if the driver is getting drowsy. This is designed to be a more accurate system than one that solely uses steering wheel inputs. This technology will also offer the option of some hands-free driving. The prep kit will be available soon, and an over-the-air update will activate the system in the third quarter of 2021.

Intersection Assist

If you’re turning left at an intersection and there’s a risk of a crash with an oncoming vehicle, the optional Intersection Assist will apply the brakes to avoid a crash.
