Positive Review
one of the best trucks I have ever owned, never left me. Truck has 224,000 miles and still starts and runs, I would strike right out for California in it today.
Critical Review
It's used in my wifes Antique business she has cut back dont need it anymore. Dependable, i would feel comfortable driving it on a 7-800 mile trip. Body has some issues, just cosmetic, they dont affect performance

Some clear coat on camper shell and missing back window, as with most Ford products that used water base paints, have paint peal on hood and top of roof line, some light dents on body, front seats have normal wear with some stitching flaws, wear factors on driver's side carpet. Have maintenance records from 2007 forward. New MFS [turn signal switch], all new O2 sensors, all new plus and coils, up to date oil change records, new headlamp main switch, an added K&N cold air unit offering 13-17 more HP, slotted and drilled rotors in front with new pads, new pads in rear. Have NEW extra rearend cover and gaskets with gear oil and limited slid fluids.
Can't wait to buy a new one in December best truck ever made Bought it from my dad to Estate for 1000 bucks had 111000 miles on it I was with him and mom in 2002 when he bought it He'd never drive it in the snow it doesn't have the rust that most of them have under running board kept outside I gave it away to a friend
Low miles for year. Engine runs great. Very nice body and interior and box in good shape.
Cruise control does not work.
Have a 2003 Ford Super Cab for sale. This is the one having the bench seat in the rear. It is not a crew cab. As stated earlier it has 186,000 miles. Truck has the 8 cylinder engine and runs very well. Also, the body is very straight with nice paint. All of the glass is in great shape. I purchased this truck about eight months ago with intent of selling my 2006 Ford pickup and keeping this one because my 2006 has about 235,000 miles and is not as nice. The only thing needing repaired on this truck is the cruise control. I have not trouble shot the problem to find out what the issue is.
Needs work and lovr, runs like a beauty and manual missing some prts. Needs cosmetic parts. Colour red with a California bed
Paid $1000 few years back for my 2002 F150 5.4 ,4x4 crew cab had 170,000 Now at 225,000 Had to replace timing change Intake, manifold ( plastic bad idea ) But other wise just normal maintenance issue like spark plugs, brakes , alternator Not a pretty truck but runs well
Has secure bed cover
Bed cover can be heavy to open
Not insured, garaged since August 2023. Registered through January 2024. Babs not bees submitted to DMV for non op.
I bought mine in 2003 for $17,200. It was two years old still under warranty. I am still driving it to this day and the year is 2023 October. I have somewhere around 177,000 miles on it. The only thing that has technically gone out on it since I’ve owned the truck was the compressor and that was right when the warranty ended. Otherwise changed all and do your maintenance yourself and wonderful truck. I still drive it across country to this day, and it runs like a sewing machine! A lot better than buying some new vehicle with a bunch of stupid gadgets, a car payment and high insurance
Very reliable

I love this truck bought it brand new since 2003. Never leave me stranded with hard 220,000 miles. Tow pretty good up the hills.
