Positive Review
This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I bought it new back in 1999, and at 257k miles everything works. Only simple maintenance in all those years. Never a major repair, and it's never left me stranded on the side of the road. My repairs consist of shocks, brakes, a couple of coils, a fuel pump, an AC compressor and a ball joint. In sixteen years that's it!
Critical Review

I've had my Ford F150 for about 20 years with 147,671 on the odometer. The engine and drive train are original and with no apparent major problems/issues. I've regularly maintained it with frequent oil changes, tires, brakes, etc. Currently the mileage is 252,297 and the exhaust is clear! The fabric on the interior is flawlessly clean and the body is exceptionally clean with minor dents and scratches on its original paint that still looks great. It's been a great truck, and it's 4x4 off-road feature came in handy when we lived above a lake and had to drive the steep service roads/hills to up and down. All the instrumentation is original & in working order. Except for the cassette tape player that could not be repaired (Radio still worked just fine) Unfortunately, I had to replace the entire radio/cassette tape player with a current state-of-the-art Radio/CDplayer/Bluetooth/USB/Remote, yuck!
seat fabric & plastic dashboard (Dry Rot)
If I could give a higher rating,☝️THIS TRUCK- would Get a 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I've been in 4 separate car accidents with it (ALL of which, I was NOT at FAULT 👈🤗) . And After each one- NO ONE WAS HURT-- IT ALWAYS CRANKED UP--ALWAYS DROVE AWAY --AND THE DAMAGE (if any) WAS MINIMAL!!!😎 I'll Never Drive anything Else & I Highly recommend it to everyone who has the privilege of owning one.🙏😇
Reliable affordable comfort
Rust,
Strong and dependable. Very comfortable and smooth riding would recommend these trucks to anyone looking for a quality truck
It's all great.
Hard to get parts due to its' advanced age.
I bought this truck new. It now has over 416,000 miles on it and the original engine. I replaced the transmission at about 356,000 miles. It has been a dream truck! Comfortable, roomy, performs well, drives well and easy to understand (the amount of electronics in those days was a lot less). It is well built and better made than today's vehicles. The reason I am considering selling it is that it is getting very hard to get parts. Aftermarket parts aren't as good / durable as the original Ford parts. Thus, when a repair is required, it takes 3-4 days for parts to be ordered and installed. Otherwise, I would keep it forever.
No major problems yet with the milage nearing 300k. Thats an all around great vehicle.Just really cant say one thing bad about it cause ive got so much good out of it.
Feels like a truck should very confident
