Positive Review
Owned this truck for 12 years and I am super satisfied at the performance and quality of the truck. The XLT package is tops when it comes to comfort and ride. The HD suspension for a 1/2 ton truck is unbelievable, better total combined weight limits than some 3/4 ratings. This truck never let me down, runs great and is so dependable. I keep up the maintenance and repairs on this vehicle and it keeps giving and giving satisfaction. One reliable vehicle for sure.
Critical Review
I paid very little for this truck and at the time i bought it it was in good condition but after only a year of being driven by me its heater core, transmission, and eventually the frame went bad. The truck was a 4x4 with a C-6 Automatic and a 302 V-8 and the engine ran strong and sounded amazing. The interior was comfy and the exterior looks awesome but the frame rusted out from under it. Parts for stock or for performance aint hard to find and dont cost much so probably a good truck if you live where it don't snow but out here it aint worth a lick.

I got it from a family member for basically free and it only had 104k original miles on it. It so far was in the shop for a while because we had to take the automatic 4x4 off to change the brakes but other than that, it's a great, reliable truck. It's in beautiful condition too.

Dual Gas Tanks!
Side mirrors too small
I own two "classic" OBS F150s both with the straight six. The 91 is a heavy half ton with the plow package which includes dual shocks, overload springs, a Borg Warner T18 Granny Gear Tranny and even a dump bed that uses the original truck bed. The 96 is a former work truck with super low miles, no bells or whistles but it does have air conditioning and it still works. I rebuilt several of these engines and have driven them into the shop even after years of abuse and neglect. It's impossible to kill a straight six and that's why I love these trucks but only if they have the straight six!
Badass American Made Eagle Screamin Steel Body V8
None
First of all shorts beds are way more valuable than long beds. 2nd of all 9th gen F150 and Broncos in this condition go for between 15k-25k. Seems KBB gives fair pricing on cars 5 years old or less

I've owned it since 1994. I'm kept it up anytime it needed a new part it could use a little paint job but it's five speed on the floor has great power you could use a little upkeep not dented and tore up
Beast mode, Tank, Unstoppable, Work truck
Eye-sore, Gas hog, Huge, hard to park
Crashed my car in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky one night, so I caught an Uber to a cheap motel, and I got on Facebook marketplace and came across this old, beat up, F-150 that this guy used for his asphalt business. I gave him $1200 and he gave me the keys, so I drove it back home to Ohio, and ended up keeping it for a while. It was not only fun to drive because it ran like a Warthog, but it was also a stick-shift. I used it for a side hustle for a while where I moved peoples furniture for them and helped them take scrap to the scrap yard for a fee. The clutch ended up going out on it, on a highway on-ramp, it got towed and since I didn't fill pout the title and tags correctly I never could get it back. But I learned from it and i got to experience just how great that model of old truck is as well.
