Positive Review
I L-O-V-E, love, LOVE my Expedition! I bought it new in 2004 and have put 324,000 miles on it so far...and it's STILL going. I have always done regular oil changes with full synthetic and do other regular maintenance (brakes, rotors, etc). It's a VERY reliable vehicle. My Expedition runs smoothly and is powerful when I step on the gas. It is extremely versatile in that I can haul the kids or load up 4'x8' sheets of plywood which fit in the back without any problem at all! I do a great deal of shopping for my home (Lowe's, Home Depot, furniture stores) and there was only one time when I purchased something that couldn't fit into my vehicle. That problem was quickly solved when I went to my local U-Haul and rented a trailer which was easily towed by my Expedition. I can't imagine life without my "baby" and plan to keep her long after I choose to find a commuter car to bounce back and forth to work with. She will always have a home in my garage. :)
Critical Review
Purchased this car new on May of 2005 and have less than 150,000 miles. Has been a fairly good vehicle with some electrical issues. Right now it has been in the shop since April, 2015. Apparently a computer is not working and Ford is no longer making that part. We have been waiting for Ford to step up but so far no luck. Right now I am extremely dissatisfied with Ford. Without this part the car will not run at all.

Roomy interior, comfortable seating & ride,
Difficult to DIY or find shops 2 work on it.
Just like a good looking woman she is pretty but difficult to maintain. Normal DIY stuff like changing the spark plugs is difficult even if you have the updated ones in. If the spark plugs have never been changed see if you can borrow an extraction tool before attempting. The extraction tool is for after the spark plug breaks. Be prepared to remove extraneous parts to get to the coils and spark plugs. Pretty, dependable but can be a headache.

Comfort, safety, durability. Highly recommend the 2006 King Ranch Expedition, a great ride. Lost mine when a lady T-boned me at a high speed. I walked away with no serious injuries.
Recushioned the seats. Loses cushion comfort. Easy to replace just the foam runs a bit costly. Several places to buy the foam from locally.
