Positive Review
I bought this car new in 1995, in Omaha,NE. I now live in VA. It has been the best car I have ever owned. I have close to 500,000 miles. It has never let me down. I wish I could find a car as great has this one.
Critical Review
I have had this car since the summer. I have had to fix it quite a bit, not because its a bad car but because the person before did nothing to the car and its older, its a 1994 Ford Escort LX. However after I did all the changes to the car it runs runs great for its age. Its incredibly comfortable in the seats. The trunk is very open and big. Its nice that you can access the trunk from inside the car you can pop down both sides of the seat. Because my car is older it as automatic seat belts which is very nice so you dont need to worry about putting your seatbelt on. Its a great car overall. I would recommened it.

My Ford escort station was a great car. Front wheel drive. It handle Michigan and Ohio Winters like a champ. Low on horse power but very dependable. I have been searching for a new car similar to the escort.

Totaled '99 in 2015 @ 203k miles. :( The car LOVE of my life for 10+ yrs! <3 Searched for another & found this li'l guy, a worthy, temporary replacement. I'll ALWAYS miss my baby [the '99] tho. More room & better features.
This car has served me well since 2000 when I bought it. I wish I could find another small station wagon like it!
Very dependable and economical to drive.

Owned this car for 16 years. Bought it for $3,000. I'm 73 and have owned many expensive and fancy sport cars in my life! This car is very reliable! It gets 40mpg hwy and 32mpg through the North Georgia Mountains! I've only replaced normal things like timing belts, struts, radiator, hoses, brakes, etc. I take real good care of it. Oil and filter is changed every 4,000 miles and have always added Marvel Mystery Oil to the gas! I've done this for decades with all my cars and have gotten at least 300,000 miles doing this and probably gotten another 300,000 miles! This car still looks brand new! My annual tax is a whooping $8.50! I'd rather spend my money elsewhere!
It is nippy for a small, 12 grand car brand-new.
The fact that it is frowned upon in car meets
I got my 91 GT from my dad and it has never failed us. with the 281000 miles on it I still quick-shift and redline it every once in a while. Still hold up to this day and it is commuted 20 miles 6 days a week.
Good Gas mileage, fun to drive, decent power
Interior is not that great
I just recently bought another one. I used to have a couple back in the late 90s, and thought it was the greatest car ever. Then I moved on to bigger faster cars. Well I recently stumbled upon one at the junk yard about to be crushed. I bought it for 50, took it home, changed the timing belt (which is why it wouldnt start) and it fired right up. With a tank full of 2 year old gas and all. Oh I changed the plugs too. But it runs great and I have some big plans for it. I forgot how fun to drive this thing is. If I could get another one to play with, I would.
