This van was safe, reliable and easy to drive.
Transmission was replaced at 95000 miles.
I bought this van new in 1998 and had all the disability equipment installed by Bornmans in Glassboro N.J. They lowered the floor put in upholstered seating with a 6 way power seat and hand controls all carpeting, safety equipment, automatic doors and Ricon Power Lift .
Comfortable and fun to drive
I bought this with 200,000 miles for $650 put 50k miles on it so far it is the most comfortable vehicle I ever driven it's very reliable I got the 5.8l V8 its got decent torque and will take you up the mountain with no issues I've rented a lot of brand new U-Haul Vans with only up to 20,000 miles on them and this van drives better then all of the uhaul vans I've rented and it's got 250k miles a school did own it before me and they did really good job with maintenance so I'm very confident it's going to last over 300,000 miles if I just baby it
Best vehicle I’ve owned. We got new in 1998. Been off road in the Rockies to Maine to South Carolina beaches. Hauled kids, friends, sports gear, furniture and towed boats all in comfort. Very reliable.
enjoyed driving because you sit higher than car.
White with light blue trim ext. interior is light blue. 302 engine v8. 7 passenger, 2 bucket seats up front, 2 swivels buckets in middle, bench seat in back. Sirius xm radio, The miles are highway miles from trips to Canada and traveling around the west . tires are excellent. Was in storage every year from Mid Oct to Memorial Day. Loved traveling with the van because You sit higher and can see above most bridges and cars. When traveling with the Grandchildren was always good to know that they'd be getting out on curb side instead of into traffic.
Hauls lots of kids and gear.
None.

we bought this 1995 ford 15 passenger van in 1996, when it was 1 year old, and 18,000 miles. we wont part with it, it now has 239,000 mi. is always dependable, hauled trailers with it, camped in it, fit in 100"s of foster children we have had 375 at least. drove calif. to arkansas, upholstry is great still, except the driver seat is thin in some places, handles great. paint perfect on outside, replaced the grill cuz it cracked. and overhauled transmission at 200,000 just cuz we thought we should, not otherwise. did have to fix the ac. blend door, oxygen sensor, water pump, idler pulley bearing, and put in a 4 row radiator, but this was thru out all the years. IT IS NOT FOR SALE :)
Comfortable and fun.
Apt to keep driving too many hours.
We had to replace parts we wore out, like brakes, etc. and the AC had to be fixed to use whatever replaced Freon, but otherwise this van was pure pleasure. The rating of 9 for value and driving dynamicx are the result of a comparison to a Honda CRV, which uses much less gas and handles well. The van handled wonderfully for its sizem and it got 14 mpg consistently. Not bad. . .
value for money
fuel consumption higher for short distant rides.
I want to know its value as at Sept.28, 2010 the time it was brought to Banjul.
