This car has been extremely reliable and has features that are superior to its competition. It has an excellent a/c, heating, and defrosting system. It's suspension copes with our terrible roads far better than our past Mazda or Elantra. The view outside is awesome, critical in this city. The car and the suspension feel more robust than those two. Very quiet on the highway. The dual clutch is fine in full auto but is a hoot to drive in sequential shift where you can keep the turbo up to speed. Extremely versatile and useful. Unbelievably maneuverable and easy to park in NYC.

dark green, handsome, easy for smaller garaging, easy to keep clean, a simple and fun car to zip around in. A bit noisy because it is not an american type padded car.

Roomy, fun to drive, dependable

that dislike anything that's not from Japan, and call it "unreliable". This FIAT 500L has been one of the best cars out of the 50_ that I've owned. Very roomy for a big guy, roomy back seat, versatile cargo area, fun to drive, peppy... I can't say wnough good things about this car. It's been everything I could have asked for. These cars are all over the roads in Europe - where there's very few Japanese cars in comparison. European style, attention to detail, practicality, etc. Look at the owners' ratings and reviews and you'll find the truth!
When it ran, it was kinda fun
Too many major issues
Transmission went out at 116,000, I bought it used at 75,000. Been having transmission issues since I bought it. Shop couldn't find the issue or replicate. Feel that Fiat knows this car has severe issues but rather place the burden on it's costomers. DO NOT BUY.

The motor went out at 70,000 miles and it was going to cost $9464 to replace!! Just had to sell for scrap. It was a cute, fun car while it lasted.
reliable, agile, responsive and fun to drive
hard to get service on Kauai
This car is so sporty and quick. It has proven to be tough and agile with an automatic that drives like a stick. Love it's pep and safety features. It looks small on the outside but does have a lot of interior room for family, recreational gear etc. I've thoroughly enjoyed this car and get compliments frequently. I see more and more on the roads here but accessing service for some needs has been a challenge on an island (not O'ahu). For example, my key FOB is broken and I cannot get it fixed because I would have to ship the car to O'ahu for the computer chip work. Real bummer. But overall this car is FABulous!!

Fuel hog, not great on mpg.
Took a hard hit and interior was not damaged at all. All airbags deployed as needed. Does lack additional safety features…

Car is great just expensive for parts especially like if I’m getting an oil change I just wish the parts where easy to find like Honda or Toyota
